Metrorail Weekday Service Updates (August 21st – August 25th):
- Red Line – Trains every 6-10 minutes
- Orange Line – Trains every 10-15 minutes
- Blue & Silver Lines – Trains every 12-15 minutes
- Yellow & Green Lines – Trains every 8 minutes
- Service Wednesday and Thursday 5 AM through Midnight while Friday service is 5 AM through 1 AM
Metrobus Service Updates:
- Routes F4, T14: On August 14th for 2 weeks (until August 28th) there is a Temporary Bus Stop Closure: Riverdale Rd at 64th Avenue
- Routes J2, S2, S9, Z6, Z8: On August 21st to September 4th, 10 PM – 5 AM at nightly, Buses will detour due to Purple Line construction – please plan accordingly
- Routes 90, 92, 96: On August 22nd, buses will detour due to the Bens Chili Bowl 65th Anniversary Celebration – please plan accordingly

- Newport News Transfer Center Information Booth will be closed August 21st & 22nd. Tickets may be purchased via the ticket vending machine in the lobby.

- LocalLink Route 94 detour will be in effect until end of day August 21st
- When traveling Southbound service will divert at Howard Street and Preston Street & Northbound at Eutaw Street and Madison Street
