New restrictions on public transportation

Starting Thursday, 9.7.2020 and according to the Ministry of Transportations’ guidelines, please note the following restrictions on public transportation.

🚌 Bus Lines – Service hours

  • On weekdays (Sun-Thu) – most bus lines will operate until 22:00. Lines starting at train stations will continue operating as usual
  • On Saturday nights – bus lines will continue operating as usual

🚌 Bus Lines – passenger capacity

Intracity bus lines – up to 32 passengers

Intercity bus lines – up to 30 passengers

Articulated bus lines – up to 50 passengers

🚆 Israel Railways

  • Train lines will continue operating as usual, in accordance with specific line changes due to maintenance works
  • Prior to every train ride, and according to the new guidelines regarding the passenger limit, one should book an entry voucher in order to enter the train stations. Book your voucher via Israel Railways website or at *5770

😷 Remember your face mask

We remind you, that in accordance with the Ministries of Health and Transportation guidelines, it is mandatory to wear a face mask in every ride and not use any public transportation line if having illness symptoms.

🎫 Ride payments in public transportation

Buses – payment is allowed only with a Rav Kav card that has been charged in advance.

Israel Railways – payment is available with a Rav Kav card that has been charged in advance in the Israel Railways website or at the station.
