All Lines –  Regular service

Passengers at stations impacted by service adjustments should follow Passenger Information Display signs, station announcements or consult a Station Manager for any boarding location changes.

Weekend Service Alerts for Saturday, February 22 and Sunday, February 23

Summary of Metrorail weekend service:

• Red Line Trains every 9-18 minutes
• Orange Line Regular weekend service
• Silver Line Regular weekend service
• Blue Line Regular weekend service
• Yellow LineTrains every 16 minutes
• Green LineTrains every 16 minutes

Red Line Red Line

• Red Line trains operate every 18 minutes between Shady Grove and Glenmont
• Additional trains every 9 minutes between Friendship Heights and Glenmont from 9AM-9PM
• Due to installation of cable/communications equipment to support cellular service in tunnels and new radio system, Red Line trains will single track between Medical Center and Grosvenor

Orange Line Orange Line

• Regular weekend service trains every 12 minutes on Saturday and 15 minutes on Sunday

Silver Line Silver Line

• Regular weekend service trains every 12 minutes on Saturday and 15 minutes on Sunday

Blue Line Blue Line

• Regular weekend service trains every 12 minutes on Saturday and 15 minutes on Sunday

Yellow Line Yellow Line

• Trains every 16 minutes
• Due to switch replacement and track circuit testing, Yellow Line trains will single track between Mt Vernon Sq and U St.

Green Line Green Line

• Trains every 16 minutes
• Due to switch replacement and track circuit testing, Green Line trains will single track between Mt Vernon Sq and U St.
