Metrolink

Park and Ride

Two Park and Ride sites are located close to M60 Junction 23 and offer connections to the ground on the Ashton line. From there, you can complete your journey to the stadium by tram:

  • Ashton West with 194 spaces
  • Ashton Moss with 200 spaces

From these stops the journey time to the stadium is less than 25 minutes.

Bus services

  • On match day, the number 216 bus is the most frequent service which runs directly to the stadium. You’ll find the service at the north side of Piccadilly Gardens [stop D] in Manchester city centre. Buses depart to the ground every 10 minutes.
  • At the end of the game, 216 shuttle buses towards the city centre will be lined up on Ashton New Road opposite the South Stand.
  • Congestion on the roads may mean bus services take longer on matchday. Consider allowing yourself a little extra time if you are intending to catch a service.

Train

  • The nearest station to the ground is Piccadilly Station, which only a 10-minute Metrolink ride or 25-minute walk from the ground.
  • For tram services, just take the stairs down from the main concourse area at Piccadilly Station.
