On Sunday 19 October, track repair works will take place at Deansgate-Castlefield until 2pm, whilst the Bury line will undergo additional improvement works for the duration of the day.
From start of service until 2pm, no cross-city tram services will operate via St Peter’s Square with service changes in place across the network.
During this time, the Manchester Airport line will terminate at Firswood, the Eccles & Trafford Centre lines will terminate at Cornbrook, the Altrincham & East Didsbury lines will terminate at Deansgate-Castlefield & the Rochdale line will operate to Exchange Square.
Bus replacement services will operate between Cornbrook and Victoria/Piccadilly until approximately 3pm to keep customers connected.
From approximately 2pm onwards, tram services will resume via St Peter’s Square and service changes will revert back, though it may take a little longer for all services to fully reform.
Additionally, for the duration of the day, improvement works will take place on the Bury line, with no service between Crumpsall and Bury. Throughout Sunday, a replacement bus will operate between Victoria and Bury to help customers continue their journey.
