Bus update
- As a result of the Manchester half-marathon road closures, the Free Bus 1, 15, 18, 19, 23, 25, 33, 41, X50, 53, 79, 85, 85A, 86, 150, 197, 245, 250, 255, 256 and 263 will all be diverted during the day.
- Until Friday 20 October, Withy Grove will be closed and the 8 and 10 services will be diverted Miller Street and Trinity Way.
Tram (Metrolink) update
Sunday 15 October
Severely reduced tram service
Due to an electrical fault at our Trafford depot, we are operating a severely reduced service between the following locations and the city centre this morning:
- Altrincham
- East Didsbury
- Eccles
- Manchester Airport
- Trafford Centre
Severe delays are expected across all other lines.
From Monday 16 October to Friday 27 October
Temporary closure of the top deck of Radcliffe park and ride for essential works.
The bottom deck will stay open and alternative parking is also available at Whitefield park and ride.
Rail update
Sunday 15 October
Trains between Wigan Wallgate – Salford Crescent via Atherton will be replaced by buses. Services between Wigan North Western – Stalybridge via Bolton will start from Southport and run via Wigan Wallgate, not Wigan North Western
