Buses replace trains between Birkenhead North and New Brighton from Saturday 27 April to Friday 3 May
Platform upgrade work will be taking place between New Brighton and Birkenhead North.
Rail replacement buses will run between New Brighton and Birkenhead North from Saturday 27 April to Sunday 5 May. Note: Bicycles are not allowed on rail replacement bus services at any time, unless fully folded.
Northern improvement works
The following services will run to alternative timetables on Sunday 28 April:
- Sheffield – Pontefract
- Sheffield – Leeds via Moorthorpe
- Sheffield – Huddersfield
Improvement work at Overpool from Saturday 27 April to Friday 31 May
Trains from Liverpool Central to Ellesmere Port will be unable to call at Overpool due to improvement works. Customers to/from Overpool should circulate between Little Sutton and Ellesmere Port.
Buses replace trains between Basingstoke / Romsey and Southampton Central on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 April
CrossCountry
Trains will be diverted between Basingstoke and Southampton Central, not calling at Winchester or Southampton Airport Parkway. Customers for these stations should use South Western Railway services. Journey times will be extended by around 45 minutes.

- Eastleigh and Southampton Central
- Romsey and Southampton Central (via Chandler’s Ford).
Sunday
Buses replace trains between:
- Basingstoke and Southampton Central
- Basingstoke and Fareham.
- Romsey and Southampton Central (via Chandler’s Ford).
