🚌Bus Updates
Service Changes (Sunday 25 January): Implementation of changes on routes: 7, 17A, 41, 67, 87, 93, 112, 114, 117, 118, 119, 130, 132, 254, 343, 347, 356, 387, 403, 411 & 541.
Oldham Diversions (Sunday 25 January): King Street will be closed for resurfacing. Routes 76, 76A, 149, 409 & 426 will be diverted.
Tyldesley Diversions (Sundays, 25 Jan – 22 Feb): Resurfacing on Chaddock Lane will affect routes 35 and 126 every Sunday.
🚋Tram (Metrolink) Updates
Victoria Track Repairs (Sunday 8 February): * No services through Victoria until 10:00 am.
Bury/Rochdale lines terminate at Victoria.
East Didsbury line terminates at Exchange Square.
Airport line operates to Piccadilly.
Replacement buses will run between Victoria and Piccadilly.
Bury Line Works (Sunday 8 March): No trams between Whitefield and Bury all day. Replacement buses will be provided.
🚆Rail Updates
Preston Engineering (Sunday 25 January): Lines closed near Preston; replacement buses for routes to Blackpool (North/South), Carlisle, and Oxenholme.
Late Night Closures (Mon 26 – Fri 30 January): Engineering between Deansgate and Birchwood. Replacement buses for late-night services from Liverpool Lime Street to Warrington Central/Oxford Road/Piccadilly.
Manchester Piccadilly Major Upgrades (14 – 22 February): * Essential track and signaling work will significantly limit services via Piccadilly.
Most trains will terminate at alternative stations like Stockport, Victoria, or Oxford Road.
🚧Roads Updates
Bolton (A666 Blackburn Road): Until Sunday 22 February, traffic is Northbound only between Prospect Street and Moss Bank Way. Southbound traffic must follow signed diversions.
Salford (Broad Street): Until Wednesday 25 March, periodic lane closures at Pendleton Roundabout for bridge repairs.
M60 (J23 to J24): Until Friday 5 June, maintenance near Audenshaw. 50mph speed limit and narrow lanes are in place, with overnight closures (9 pm – 6 am) as needed.
