    Here is what’s changing for you between 9 – 15 December 2018. Please check if any of the following affects you.

    🚊 Planned Mersey Tunnel Closures🚊


    There are no planned closures for the Mersey Tunnels this week.

    The information given is currently correct, however, for a number of reasons, closures may be subject to change at short notice.

     

    🚊Rail🚊


    City Line:

    Monday 10 to Thursday 13 December

    The 2250 Manchester Airport to Liverpool Lime Street service will terminate at Manchester Piccadilly.

    The 2329 Manchester Oxford Road to Liverpool Lime Street service will not run.
    The 2338 Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Piccadilly service will not run.
    A rail replacement bus service will operate to cover the affected services.

    On Saturday 15 December – there will be RMT strike action on Northern Railway trains – they will be operating a reduced timetable with very few trains running after 5pm.

    Northern Line:

    Phase 2 of the platform upgrade work is currently underway.

    Rail replacement buses will run between Bank Hall and Sandhills. Passengers are able to board regular train services towards Liverpool or Southport at Sandhills.

    PLEASE NOTE: Trains will be running through Bank Hall during this time. Only passengers who use Bank Hall station to alight/depart our services will be affected. Rail replacement buses will stop directly outside Bank Hall station.

    Wirral Line:

    There are no planned changes this week.
