NYC – Veterans Day Parade Transit Guide

Hi Mooviters,

🎖️Tomorrow is Veterans Day and the annual New York Veterans Day Parade. The parade is a mile-long route along 5th Avenue from 26th Street to 47th Street. The official step-off time is 12:30 PM. 

Like always, we encourage those attending to take mass transit🚍 to the Parade and to grab an umbrella.🌂 The forecast is showing rain. 

How to get to the Parade:

Ride the Subway to the following Stations:

•          23 St F​

•          23 St R W​​

•          28 St R W​​

•          28 St 6​

•          42 St-Bryant Park 7 D F​​​

•          Grand Central-42 St 4 5 6 7 S

MTA bus will detour around the parade route, expect these service changes:

•X27, X28, X37, X38, BM1, BM2, BM3, BM4, BM5, BXM3, BXM4, BXM6, BXM7, BXM8, BXM9, BXM10, BXM11, M1, M2, M3, SIM1C, SIM3, SIM3C, SIM4C, SIM8, SIM8X, SIM10, SIM23, SIM24, SIM25, SIM30, SIM31, SIM33C will use Lexington Ave.

•M4, M5, M55 will use Seventh Ave.

•QM1, QM2, QM3, QM4, QM5, QM6, QM10, QM12, QM15, QM16, QM17, QM18, QM20, QM24 will use Madison Ave.

•Q32 will use Sixth Ave. Northbound and Seventh Ave. Southbound

Buses not running on the affected routes will run on regular weekday schedules.

Veterans Day Service on Subway and Rail:

MTA Subway, Long Island Rail Road, and Metro-North Railroad will run on a regular weekday schedule.
