Manual Train Operations Following Signalling Systems Disruptions
Update at 11:25 AM
Following the tireless effort by the technical team and team from OEM of the signalling for the past 2 days, the signalling systems for the MRT Putrajaya Line have been stabilised. As of 11am, all the trains are now operating under automated mode with 20 trains in the line and operating with frequencies of 10minutes.
Rapid Rail is still monitoring the systems closely to ensure the reliability and system stability are at their optimum level.
The free feeder bus service is still available for passengers.
======
Following the cable theft and vandalism incident that occurred on 25 October 2025, the MRT Putrajaya Line had been suffering signalling instabilities. As the damage to the signalling infrastructure is severe, Rapid Rail is still rushing to repair and restore the MRT Putrajaya Line signalling since.
As the repair is still ongoing, Rapid Rail unfortunately need more time for the repair. On Monday, 27 October 2025, the MRT Putrajaya Line will continue to operate manually.
The MRT Service between Kwasa Damansara and Putrajaya Sentral (Full line disruption) will be driven manually, and trains will be moving significantly slower and stopping much longer at stations to ensure safety of passengers. Train frequencies will be operating every 15 to 20 minutes.
Free feeder bus service will continue to be deployed between Kwasa Damansara and Putrajaya throughout the disruption period, with frequencies of 15 to 20 minutes and depending on the traffic conditions at the time.
