Passover 2024 - Transit Service During The Holiday 🌸🍷

Dear riders,

Passover has arrived, and we have collected several transit changes that are worth getting to know about during the holiday.

πŸšΒ πŸš„Β πŸš‘Β Service During Passover – Buses, Israel Railways, Rachbalit, The Light Rail

On Passover Eve (April 22nd) and on the 2nd Passover Eve (April 28th), public transportation will operate according to a Friday schedule.

On the Passover holiday (April 23rd) and the 2nd Passover (April 29th), the lines will operate according to a Saturday schedule.

During Hol Ha’Moed, public transportation will generally operate and there will be additional service on certain lines.Β

πŸš† Israel Railways

Israeli Railways will operate during Passover according to a designated schedule, which includes special trains and extension of existing train routes.

🌸 Passover Eve, Monday, April 22nd, 2024, and Second Passover eve, Sunday, April 28th, 2024

Trains will operate between 17:00-06:00 in an enhanced format based on Friday schedules, with additional high-frequency service of two trains per hour (instead of one per hour) on the Haifa – Tel Aviv line. Also, there will be service on the Dimona – Be’er Sheva line.

🌸 The evening after Passover, Tuesday, April 23rd, 2024, and the evening after Second Passover, Monday, April 29th

Trains will operate between 21:30-24:30 in an enhanced format, based on Saturday evening schedules, with additional service on the Dimona – Be’er Sheva line.

🌸 Hol Ha’Moed (Wednesday and Thursday, April 24-25, 2024) and the day after Passover (Isru Chag) (Tuesday, April 20th, 2024)

The route of train No. 30 will be extended, departing from Be’er Sheva Center Station at 09:41 and concluding its journey at Haifa Center HaShmona Station at 12:23 (instead of Tel Aviv Savidor Center Station). Additional stops will be added at Tel Aviv University, Herzliya, and Haifa stations.

The route of train No. 37 will be extended, departing from Haifa Center HaShmona Station (instead of Tel Aviv Savidor Center Station) at 14:02 and concluding its journey at Be’er Sheva Center Station at 16:49. Additional stops will be added at Haifa, Herzliya, and Tel Aviv University stations.

On the night between Tuesday and Wednesday (April 23-24, 2024), the route of the night trains, which depart from Herzliya station, will be extended to end their journey at Jerusalem Yitzhak Navon station (instead of Ben Gurion Airport station).

🚈 The Light Rail Cfir – Jerusalem

🌸 Changes In The Light Rail Service

On the occasion of the Passover weekdays between the dates 4/24-25/2024 between the hours of 09:00 and 22:00,Cfir Light Rail are preparing for the crowds of visitors who are expected to visit the city by increasing the frequency of the trains during these hours for the benefit of the traveling public.


πŸŒŸπŸ¦‰ Celebrate Passover With The Night Lines

During Passover, between April 14th and April 29th, all bus night lines will operate countrywide! (Except for the eves of the holiday evenings and Fridays).


🚍 Travel with Naim Busofash and Sababus Ramat Gan

The Naim Busofash (Χ’Χ™Χ¨Χ™Χ™Χͺ Χͺל אביב-Χ™Χ€Χ•) and Sababus (Χ’Χ™Χ¨Χ™Χ™Χͺ רמΧͺ Χ’ΧŸ) lines and will operate during the Passover holiday on the following dates:
April 22-23 – Passover Eve (Seder night) and Passover
April 28-29 – 2nd Passover Eve and 2nd PassoverΒ Β 
The service hours will be the same as on weekends.

Changes of Naim Busofash:

  • Lines 705-710 and 717 – Service end time moved from 19:00 to 18:30.
  • Update of operating hours for line 712 to Modi’in.
