The People’s Vote march is happening today, Saturday, September 19, in Central London and we are expecting the transport network to be very busy.
Please take note of the following changes:
Marble Arch, Hyde Park Corner, Knightsbridge and Green Park stations will become exit and interchange only from about 11:00.
Westminster station will become exit and interchange only from about 14:00.
Other nearby stations will also be exceptionally busy and may be made exit or interchange only over the course of the day.
Stations around the march which may be affected will include Bond Street, Oxford Circus, Tottenham Court Road, Leicester Square, Charing Cross, Embankment, Piccadilly Circus, Waterloo, St James’s Park, Vauxhall and Victoria.
Customers are advised to avoid these stations where possible, allow extra time for journeys and check before they travel.
The Jubilee, Central and Piccadilly lines are also expected to be much busier than usual.
