Philadelphia – Crum Creek Viaduct Replacement Project

Shuttle Bus Substitution Between Elwyn and Morton Stations

Due to construction on the Crum Creek Viaduct, shuttle bus service will replace ALL trains at Elwyn, Media, Moylan-Rose Valley, Wallingford, AND Swarthmore Stations Saturday, June 18 and Sunday, June 19

Busing in place of trains will continue Monday, June 20 between Elwyn and Swarthmore Stations. Please look for separate signage for service information or visit the Crum Creek Replacement Project alerts page.

Customers should read the information and check the timetables below as shuttle bus times are different from train times:

Transfer to Trains/Buses at Morton Station

Customers should expect approximately 20 minutes of additional travel time

Schedule Information:

There are two ways to view the special Saturday, June 18 and Sunday, June 19 schedules:

Inbound (towards Center) Service

Shuttle buses will depart 28 minutes EARLIER than regularly scheduled trains. Trains will depart Morton Station at the regularly scheduled time.

Outbound (towards Elwyn) Service:

Trains will depart Center City Stations at the regularly scheduled times. Shuttle buses will depart Morton Station 5 minutes LATER than regularly scheduled trains and will arrive at Elwyn Station 28 minutes LATER.

Customer Tips & Additional Information:

Shuttle bus boarding locations are noted in the timetable above. Please look for directional signage posted at stations for additional boarding information.

Printed versions of the schedules will be posted at stations.

Crum Creek Viaduct Replacement Project | Shuttle Bus Substitution between Elwyn and Swarthmore Stations

Beginning Monday, June 20 and Continuing through Sunday, September 4, 2016

As part of the Rebuilding the System Program, SEPTA and third-party forces will work to complete a critical phase of construction on the new Crum Creek Viaduct in which new track will be installed along with the installation of new girders, deck, and catenary towers.

Impact to Service

Shuttle buses will replace ALL trains at Elwyn, Media, Moylan-Rose Valley, and Wallingford Stations Weekdays, and Saturday & Sunday. Customers should transfer from bus to train at Swarthmore station for service to Center City.

Temporary Weekday Boarding Location Change

Continuing Through June 2016 | 9:05 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Due to overhead wire work, all Trains will board from the Outbound (towards Elwyn) platform beginning with Train #9346 (departing Elwyn Station at 8:55 a.m.) at the following stations:

Secane Lansdowne
Primos Fernwood
Clifton Angora
Gladstone 49th Street
