Philadelphia – Shuttle Bus Substitution

Beginning Today, June 20 and Continuing through to September.

As part of the Rebuilding the System Program, SEPTA and third-party forces will work to complete a critical phase of construction on the new Crum Creek Viaduct in which new track will be installed along with the installation of new girders, deck, and catenary towers.

Impact to Service

Shuttle buses will replace ALL trains at Elwyn, Media, Moylan-Rose Valley, and Wallingford Stations Weekdays, and Saturday & Sunday. Customers should transfer from bus to train at Swarthmore station for service to Center City.

Weekday and Saturday & Sunday Schedules

Customers have two options to view the schedule:

Outbound (towards Elwyn) Service:

Trains will depart Center City Stations at the regularly scheduled times. Shuttle buses will depart Morton Station 5 minutes LATER than regularly scheduled trains and will arrive at Elwyn Station 28 minutes LATER.

Temporary Weekday Boarding Location Change

Continuing Through June | 9:05 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Due to overhead wire work, all Trains will board from the Outbound (towards Elwyn) platform beginning with Train #9346 (departing Elwyn Station at 8:55 a.m.) at the following stations:

Secane Lansdowne
Primos Fernwood
Clifton Angora
Gladstone 49th Street
