We have collected several public-transit updates that are worth getting to know:
Israel Railways Updates
As of Tuesday, August 17, the Israel Railways shuttle fleet has been expanded, to provide better service for train lines that are not operating during the nights. Ashkelon, Sderot, Netivot, and Ofakim stations will be added to the shuttle routes.
The following shuttle routes have been added and updated:
- Tel Aviv Savidor Center -> Sderot -> Netivot -> Ofakim (departure times: 20:00, 21:00, 22:00, 23:00). This route runs in both directions.
- Tel Aviv Savidor Center -> Rehovot -> Ashdod -> Ashkelon (departure times: 20:40, 21:10, 21:40, 22:10). This route runs in both directions.
The shuttle routes can be found in the ‘Lines’ tab
As part of rail maintenance work in the Dimona area, from Thursday, August 19 at 22:00 until Sunday, August 22 at 22:00 trains on the Dimona – Beer Sheva North/University will not be operated.
Shuttles will operate in this route as follows:
👉 Friday, August 20
From Dimona Station to Beer Sheva North/University station at 06:29 and 10:29
From Beer Sheva North/University station to Dimona Station at 08:30 and 11:30
👉 Sunday, August 22
From Dimona Station to Beer Sheva North/University station at 06:00, 08:22, and 16:15
From Beer Sheva North/University station to Dimona station at 07:45, 09:15, and 18:00
Train service in the area will return to normal on Monday, August 23rd.
Changes in public transportation lines in Afula
As of August 17, changes will apply to public transportation lines in Afula. As part of the changes, several ‘Superbus’ lines in the city will be added and some other will be modified or canceled.
New lines – 5, 11
Canceled lines – 110, 115, 116
Modified lines (schedules, routes) – 3, 10, 13

We remind you, that in accordance with the Ministries of Health and Transportation guidelines, it is mandatory to wear a face mask on every ride and not use any public transportation line if having illness symptoms.
