We have collected several public transit changes that are worth getting to know about for the upcoming weeks.

πŸš† Ben Gurion Airport train station will allow passengers to board from Tuesday, January 11th

In accordance with the Ministry of Transportation guidelines, Ben Gurion Airport Train station will allow passengers pick-up starting Tuesday, January 11.

🚈  Light Rail service changes in Jerusalem starting Thursday, January 13

As part of maintenance works that will be carried out at the Light Rail stations in order to connect the extensions of the Red and Green Lines in Jerusalem several service changes will apply as follows:

Between 16-19.1, starting at 20:30, there will be no service between Nablus Gate and Mount Herzl stations in both directions.

Between 13-21.2, starting at 21:00, there will be no service between Giva’t Ha’Tahmoshet and Central Station in both directions.

Between 20.1-12.2, starting at 21:00, there will be no service between Nablus Gate and the Central Station in both directions.

🚌 The Ministry of Transportation will operate complementary bus lines, which will replace the Light Rail in the closed segments.


🚌 ‘Tnufa’ agency began operating in the Shomron area

As of Friday, December 31, 2021, ‘Tnufa’ will replace Afikim in operating the bus lines in the Shomron area. All information about the schedules and routes can be found under the ‘Lines’ tab by entering the phrase ‘Tnufa’ or at the ‘Tbufa’ call center at *8797.


🚌 Welcome to Netanya, ‘Extra’ agency!

As of January 7, 2022, Extra agency has started operating public transportation services in Netanya. All information about timetables and routes can be found under the ‘Lines’ tab by entering the phrase ‘Extra’ or at the ‘Extra’ call center at *6747.


πŸ›£Β New public transportation lane in Derech Ha’Shalom (Tel Aviv)

As of Tuesday, January 13, a new public transportation lane has launched on Derech Ha’Shalom in Tel Aviv. The new lane will significantly shorten the travel time on this segment and willΒ operate on Sundays-Thursdays from 07:00 to 19:00 and on Fridays from 07:00 to 19:00.Β Next to it will be two lanes for private cars heading west.


We remind you, that in accordance with the Ministries of Health and Transportation guidelines, it is mandatory to wear a face mask on every ride and not use any public transportation line if having illness symptoms.
