Public-transit updates July 14

Dear riders,

We have collected several public-transit updates that are worth getting to know:

👉 Tisha B’Av (July 17/18) – Reduced Service

On Saturday evening, July 17, Tisha B’Av will take place. Therefore the night lines will not operate on this day and the frequency of bus lines will decrease. On Tisha B’Av (Sunday, July 18) there will changes in service as well, as certain lines will reduce their frequency.


🚧 Tel Aviv – Closure of Dizengoff / Arlozorov junction

Until Friday, July 16, the Dizengoff/Arlozorov junction will be closed to traffic and the following bus lines will change their routes accordingly: 2, 5, 8, 39, 129, 172, 61, 66, 128, 161, 418.


🚍 Beit Shemesh – ‘Superbus’ update

Starting July 16, ‘Superbus’ company will gradually cease its service in Beit Shemesh.

Service will be provided by ‘Nativ Express’ and ‘Tnufa’. ‘Superbus’ service will end fully by October 19th.


🚧 Be’er Sheva – Service changes following maintenance work on Yeelim Boulevard

Following maintenance work on Yeelim Boulevard, there will be a number of changes in service in the area. The routes of lines 9, 98, 16, 16A have been updated and new stations have been added to this segment.


👉 Service during Eid al-Adha

Between July 19-23, during Eid al-Adha, ‘Nativ Express’ lines in the Galilee region will operate on a reduced format. As part of the changes, some lines will not be operating and other lines will reduce their frequency.


We remind you, that in accordance with the Ministries of Health and Transportation guidelines, it is mandatory to wear a face mask on every ride and not use any public transportation line if having illness symptoms.

 

Moovit is updated with the latest changes released by the Ministry of Transportation.
