Train Service Updates for This Week 🚆

Dear riders,

We’ve gathered all the upcoming train service updates you should know about.


🚆 Israel Railways

Closure of the Kiryat Mal’akhi-Yo’av and Mazkeret Batya Stations, Friday, 11.7.25

Due to life-saving infrastructure work, essential for travel safety in the Kiryat Gat area, the Kiryat Mal’akhi-Yo’av and Mazkeret Batya stations will be closed to service on Friday, 11.7.25 only, and train traffic between these stations will be suspended.

  • Trains on the Be’er Sheva Center – Nahariya line will operate in a split format, between the Be’er Sheva Center and Kiryat Gat stations, and between the Lod and Nahariya stations.

Train traffic will return to normal on Saturday, 12.7.25, upon the resumption of service.

A free shuttle service will operate for the passengers.

🚆 Israel Railways

Returning to Routine – Stations are Opening

Please note,

  • Starting Sunday, 13.7.25, the Ra’anana South and Holon Junction stations will open to the public.
  • Starting Tuesday, 15.7.25, Kiryat Haim station will open to the public.

With the opening of these stations, all train stations that were closed due to the extensive recruitment of workers for reserve service in order to assist the war effort, will resume operation. Subsequently, the closed entrances will also gradually open.

Secondary entrances closed to service:

  • Lev HaMifrats Mall entrance to HaMifrats Central Station (the main entrance will remain open). Starting Sunday, 13.7.25, the Lev HaMifratz Mall entrance will be open to the public from 7:00-19:00.
  • The western entrance to Binyamina station is closed(the main entrance will remain open).
  • The southern entrance to Rehovot station (the northern entrance will remain active).
  • The northern entrance to Ramla station (southern entrance will remain open)
  • The northern entrance from Modai Bridge (Modai Terminal) to Tel Aviv Savidor Center station is closed Sunday-Thursday mornings and is open between 14:00 and 22:00 only.

Moovit is updated with latest changes that are being published by the bus operators and the Ministry of Transportation.
