Temporary changes in train service, Friday, 16.1.26
Due to essential maintenance and infrastructure work required for travel safety in the Binyamina and Sderot areas, on Friday, January 16th, 2026 only (starting overnight between Thursday and Friday at 00:50) and until the end of service on that day, the following changes will apply to train operations:
๐Coastal Line (Haifa โ Tel Aviv)
Train service between Binyamina and Haifa Hof HaCarmel stations will be temporarily suspended (continuous travel on the Coastal Line will not be possible). Shuttle buses will be available.
- Atlit Station will be closed for service.
- Night trains (Thursday to Friday) on the Ben Gurion Airport โ Nahariya line will operate in a split format between Ben Gurion Airport and Binyamina, and between Haifa Hof HaCarmel and Nahariya.
- Trains on the Beโer Sheva Center โ Nahariya line will operate in a split format between Beโer Sheva Center and Binyamina, and between Haifa Hof HaCarmel and Nahariya.
- Trains on the Atlit โ Beit Sheโan line will begin and end their journeys at Haifa Hof HaCarmel and will not stop at Atlit Station.
๐Western Negev Line
Train service between Ashkelon and Ofakim stations will be temporarily suspended.
- Netivot and Sderot stations will be closed for service.
- Trains on the Ofakim โ Herzliya line (via the Sharon Ring) will begin and end their journeys at Ashkelon and will not stop at Ofakim, Netivot, and Sderot stations.
Train service will return to normal on Saturday evening, January 17th, 2026, with the resumption of operations.
