SFMTA (Muni):
SF Muni Metro rail service is scheduled to resume on August 22nd. Additional bus service changes are also scheduled to be implemented on August 22nd. For more information, click here.
All metro and light rail service has been replaced by buses. Service has been reduced to focus on the agency’s most-used lines. The core routes that will remain in service, with some modifications include: L Taraval Bus, M Ocean View Bus (shortened), N Judah Bus (temporary extension in the Haight), T Third Bus, 1 California, 5 Fulton, 8 Bayshore (modified route), 9 San Bruno, 12 Folsom (shortened), 14 Mission, 14R Mission Rapid, 19 Polk, 22 Fillmore, 24 Divisadero, 25 Treasure Island, 28 19th Avenue (extended route), 29 Sunset, 30 Stockton, 38 Geary, 38R Geary Rapid (extended route), 44 O’Shaughnessy (shortened), 49 Van Ness/Mission (longer route), 54 Felton (shortened), 714 BART Early Bird Shuttle. The 9R San Bruno Rapid has also been restored with added service to Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. When the 9R San Bruno Rapid is in service to McLaren Park on weekdays from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, the 9 San Bruno will terminate on Bayshore at Visitacion. Golden Gate Transit is now permitting local bus rides within San Francisco in an effort to help SFMTA as it makes necessary service reductions during the current COVID-19 pandemic. For more information, click here.
Fares & Boarding: Face coverings are required for people in San Francisco when waiting for or riding transit. Backdoor boarding is now required on all vehicles, except for passengers in wheelchairs or with other accessibility needs. SFMTA is also offering an Essential Trip Card to help seniors and people with disabilities take and pay for essential trips in taxis during the COVID-19 pandemic. For more information, click here.

BART:
As of June 13, the Berryessa and Milpitas stations have opened. Minor schedule changes have also been implemented for the first hour of service on the Green and Orange lines. For more information, click here. As of Monday, June 8, BART has added 3 trains to the morning and afternoon commute on the Yellow Line between Pleasant Hill to Daly City. Weekday service is running every 30 minutes systemwide all day between 5:00 AM and 9:00 PM with 3-line service beginning earlier in the evening. Weekend service has been reduced from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Regular weekend train frequency will remain.
Service on all 13 Early Bird Express (EBX) bus routes has been reduced or discontinued until further notice. The following routes have been discontinued; 703, 707, 708, 709, 712, and 715. Routes 701, 702, 704, 705, 706, 713, and 714 are continuing to run with a reduced number of trips. For more information, click here.

Fares & Boarding: County health orders in Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, and San Mateo require all riders to wear face coverings inside BART stations and on-board trains. Enforcement begins Wednesday, April 22, 2020. For more information, click here.
AC Transit:
As of August 9, AC Transit has started its multi-phase reopening that will restore service to 75% of pre-pandemic levels. For a full list of these scheduled service changes, click here.

As of Sunday, June 14, AC Transit has implemented minor service adjustments to its Sunday schedule. For more information, click here. AC Transit is operating a modified service schedule in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Although similar to the existing Sunday service, arrival times will differ from it. In addition to the modified schedule, all 600-series bus lines have been temporarily suspended. For more information, click here.

Fares & Boarding: Fare payment not required until further notice. All buses with multiple doors will be boarded from the rear-door. If a bus nears capacity, our operators may bypass stops and display “Drop-Off Only”. Riders on board can continue to exit buses at their requested stop. Effective immediately, AC Transit is requiring riders to wear a face-covering that covers the nose and mouth when at bus stops or on board.
ACE:
Saturday service and ACE 05, 06, 07 & 10 are temporarily suspended. The shuttle services for these trains are also suspended. Train sizes have been reduced. For more information, click here.
Fares & Boarding: ACE has suspended in-person ticket sales at the Lathrop/Manteca and Tracy stations. ACE will continue to offer in-person ticket sales at their Stockton station in the morning and evening and our Pleasanton station in the morning.
Caltrain:
As of June 15, Caltrain is running a modified weekday schedule operating 70 trains per day, rather than the previous 42. Service frequency has increased with up to three trains per hour during the peak commute. Caltrain has also reinstated Limited trains that are now operating on a newly designed skip-stop service with fewer stops to reduce travel times and increase passenger flow for high-traffic stations to avoid crowding. Fares & Boarding: Caltrain passengers are required to wear face coverings until further notice. There are no changes to fares and boarding at this time. Caltrain is strongly encouraging all passengers to wear face-covering while on transit.
Capitol Corridor:
As of Monday, June 1, Capitol Corridor has increased service to eight weekday round trips, with five of these round trips serving stations south of Oakland Jack London Square to San Jose. Weekend service will remain at five round trips, and schedule times will be modified to align with ridership demand. For more information, click here.
Fares & Boarding: Face coverings are required on all trains, buses, and at stations. Effective immediately and until further notice, the Capitol Corridor is only taking cashless payments in stations and onboard trains.
County Connection:
Fall service changes have taken effect as of Sunday, August 9. and include schedule adjustments to ALL routes (except Route 7), plus routing changes on Routes 6, 28, 92X, 97X, 311, & 321. For more information, click here.
County Connection has resumed regular weekday service on all local routes except for Routes 5 and 6, which will continue to operate modified schedules. Express service, with the exception of Routes 91X, 92X, 93X, 95X, 96X, 97X, 98X, and 99X, have been suspended. Routes 250, 260, and the 600-series service will continue to be suspended until schools are back in session. Early Bird Express Routes 712 and 715 have been cancelled until further notice. AC Transit will continue to operate early morning service Routes 701 and 702 to the Salesforce Transit Center. AC Transit Route 701 will leave Pittsburg/Bay Point BART at 3:52 am and 4:05 am. AC Transit Route 702 will leave Pleasant Hill BART at 4:04 am. For more information, click here.
Fares & Boarding: The county of Contra Costa is requiring members of the public to wear facial coverings in public. Members of the public must wear a mask when they wait in line or ride public transportation. For more information, click here. Fare collection has been suspended on all routes including paratransit.

Dumbarton Express:

Fairfield and Suisun Transit (FAST):
On September 1, fare collection will resume on FAST local and DART paratransit service. For more information, click here.
Current Service Changes: As of July 6, new schedules have been implemented for SolanoExpress and FAST local services. To view the updated schedules, click here.
Fares & Boarding: Fare collection has resumed on SolanoExpress service. FAST is recommending all riders wear face coverings while riding FAST or SolanoExpress routes. Fare collection has been temporarily suspended on the paratransit DART service (Until September 1). All local routes will be boarded through the rear door unless riders require priority seating or a wheelchair ramp.
Paratransit Status: FAST has reduced DART Paratransit service and is only providing paratransit service to those receiving dialysis and chemo treatments. Effective September 1, fare collection will resume on DART paratransit service.
Golden Gate Transit:
Multiple service changes have gone into effect as of Sunday, July 12. This will be a temporary restructuring of Golden Gate Transit services to allow flexibility to quickly add service back as public health orders are eased and ridership returns. All service on commute Routes 2, 8, 38A, 40X, 58, 72X, 74, 76, 92, and 101X have been suspended; service on commute Routes 4, 18, 24, 27, 38, 54, and 56X have been reduced; the number of Route 72 trips have increased to accommodate for changes to Routes 72X, 74, and 76; and regional Routes 30, 40, 70, and 101 are operating hourly with added weekday peak trips on Routes 30, 40, and 70. Wheels Bus (Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority):
LAVTA weekday service is operating on a weekend service schedule except for Rapid routes. Service after 11:00 PM has been discontinued. Routes 2, 11, 20X, 70X and 580X are cancelled. Alternative service will be available via route 30R and LAVTA’s GoDublin program. Rapid Routes 10R and 30R are operating on a 30 minute frequency during hours when 15 minute frequency was previously offered. The 500 & 600-series school service bus lines have been suspended. Fares & Boarding: LAVTA has suspended the collection of passenger fares on all Wheels, Rapid buses, and Dial-a-Ride paratransit services. Effective immediately, face masks or coverings are required for all transit passengers.
Paratransit Status: Dial-a-Ride Paratransit services are currently continuing to operate but may be limited based on resource availability.
Marin Transit:
As of August 10, Marin Transit has added four new supplemental routes to connect passengers with their destinations more quickly. For more information, click here.

Fares & Boarding: All bus riders must wear face coverings while waiting for or riding on public transportation. Marin Transit is offering fare-free service on their app-based, Marin Transit Connect service.
Paratransit Status: Marin Access Paratransit services continue to provide daily, pre-scheduled, door-to-door bus transportation in Marin County for people with disabilities. Drivers are disinfecting their vehicles three times per shift and responding to specific ridership health concerns. Call 415-454-0964 to schedule a ride.
Petaluma Transit:
Fares & Boarding: Fare collection has been suspended. Passengers will board through the rear door of buses. Front door boarding will only be reserved for passengers who need the ramp or priority seating. As of April 17, the County of Sonoma is requiring members of the public to wear facial coverings in public. For more information, click here.
Paratransit Status: Paratransit service continues to operate as normal so that customers can travel for essential needs as defined by the Public Health Order Riders are being asked to cancel any non-essential trips. SamTrans:
Starting August 16, SamTrans will increase service and resume fare collection on all fixed-route and paratransit services. For more information, click here.
SamTrans has implemented a modified schedule with service reductions on 31 routes. Most routes are operating on their Saturday schedules during the weekday. Routes 118, 274, 275 and 276 have been discontinued until further notice. Route ECR is running buses every 20 minutes on weekdays. The ECR does not have any changes to Saturday or Sunday service. Route FCX is only offer two trips in each direction during peak periods. Route SFO has a 60 minute frequency, rather than the usual 30 minutes. For more information, click here. Fares & Boarding: Passengers are required to wear face coverings when riding SamTrans until further notice. Fare payment on fixed route service is not required. Passengers will board through the rear-door on fixed route service buses with multiple doors. ADA passengers and riders needing assistance will still be able to board through the front doors.
Paratransit Status: SamTrans Paratransit services are continuing to operate as normal during this time.
Santa Rosa CityBus:
As of Monday, August 3, Santa Rosa CityBus is operating on a new weekday service schedule. The new schedule will increase frequency to help passengers maintain social distancing on all trips. To view an updated schedule, click here.
Fares & Boarding: Santa Rosa CityBus is operating fare-free service to eliminate passenger interaction with fareboxes and reduce close contact between drivers and passengers. The County of Sonoma is requiring members of the public to wear facial coverings in public including on public transit. For more information, click here.

SF Bay Ferry:
SF Bay Ferry is planning on implementing a major restructuring and improvement of service for the Alameda and Oakland routes in the coming months. To learn more, click here.
As of Monday, June 15, Richmond ferry service has resumed and ferry service to Vallejo has doubled. For more information and updated schedules, click here. There is no service on the Harbor Bay or South San Francisco ferry routes. Reduced weekday service is being offered on the Alameda/Oakland and routes with no weekend service or Pier 41 on any routes. The 11:30/11:45 AM and 2:30/2:45 PM Alameda and Oakland departures to San Francisco and the 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM San Francisco departures to Alameda and Oakland are no longer being offered.
Fares & Boarding: Passengers over the age of 12 are required to wear masks or face coverings while boarding and on board the SF Bay Ferry.
SMART:
SMART is operating on a modified weekday schedule. The modified weekday schedule will operate 16 train trips per day, serving all stations and will remain in effect until further notice. SolTrans:
As of Sunday, July 5, SolTrans has increased frequency by two extra trips at the end of day during the week. The yellow and red line will also modify its schedule to add trips and modify departure times. The 82 will be reinstated. For more information, click here. SolTrans has reduced Local, SolanoExpress and Paratransit service on Saturdays. Routes 12, 15, 17, 38, and 82 have been temporarily suspended. Routes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 will no longer operate on weekends. The agency will be running an enhanced Sunday schedule on Saturdays. Fares & Boarding: Effective June 15, SolTrans has resumed fare collection on all Local, SolanoExpress and Paratransit services. Soltrans is requiring all riders to wear a facial covering while boarding and riding the bus, this requirement does not apply to children under the age of 5 or to individuals who are unable to wear a face covering due to a medical condition, For riders who do not already have one, face masks will be distributed on-board buses for a limited time.
Paratransit Status: Paratransit service is currently operating on a Saturday service schedule.
Sonoma County Transit:
As of July 13, routes 40 & 42 have resumed service. As of June 18, service to Graton Resort has resumed. Graton Resort will be served by 10 northbound and 10 southbound trips daily as Routes 44 & 48 continue to operate on their weekend schedules. Local Rohnert Park Route 12 will also serve the Graton Resort on Saturdays. Local routes 10, 14, 24, 28, 32, 66, 67 and 68 are operating on Weekday schedules, Monday thru Friday. The Cloverdale Shuttle (Route 68) has a new trip leaving Kings Valley at 7:00am. The former 3:45pm trip has been cancelled. Intercity routes 20, 30, 44, 48 and 60 are operating on Weekend schedules, Monday thru Friday. Route 62 is operating on its Weekday schedule, Monday thru Friday. Passenger face coverings are required for all transit riders.
Saturday service will temporarily operate on local routes 28 and 68, per their Weekday schedule. All other Saturday/Weekend services will operate as normal.
Fares & Boarding: Fare collection has been suspended on Sonoma County Transit and Sonoma County Paratransit. All passengers will board at the rear door of buses, if equipped. Tideline:
All service from Berkeley to San Francisco has been suspended.
Tri Delta Transit:
Tri Delta Transit has reduced the frequency of their regular schedule with most routes operating every hour. For more information, click here. To view a schedule of the changes, click here. As of April 26, Early Bird Route 709 has been discontinued.
Fares & Boarding: Fare collection has been suspended on all buses. All buses will be boarded through the rear door unless riders require a wheelchair ramp. Effective immediately, all riders are required to wear a mask or face covering in order to board any of the Tri Delta Transit buses.
Paratransit Status: There are no changes to paratransit service at this time.
Union City Transit:
As of July 5, Routes 7, 8, and 9 have been suspended. Riders can use Routes 1, 2, 3, 4. and 5 along with AC Transit Lines 41, 56, and 97 to reach your destination. For more information, click here. Weekday supplemental school service has been suspended.
Fares & Boarding: Per the Alameda County Health Officer Order 20-08, all passengers are required to cover their faces. Paratransit riders may be asked additional health questions before boarding the vehicle.
Paratransit Status: Union City Paratransit is operating regular hours, but is suspending all Paratransit Plus service into Fremont, Hayward, and Newark. For more information, click here.
VINE:
No service on Routes 10X and 11X. Route 10 will not stop at the Veterans Home. Napa Valley College will not be served unless requested by a passenger. For more information, click here. Routes A through H has transition from fixed route to “stop to stop on demand”. For more information on these service changes, click here.
Fares & Boarding: The use of face coverings is now required on board all Vine vehicles. All fares for Vine buses, community shuttles, and para-transit service will be waived until further notice. All buses will be boarded through the rear door unless riders require priority seating or a wheelchair ramp.

VTA:
As of Monday August 10th, VTA has increased its bus and light rail service. All bus routes (except Express 121) will return to service. For more information, click here.
Weekday light rail service has been extended and is now running from 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Weekend service on all light rail lines is also operating from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM. In addition to these changes, VTA has restored and extended service hours on various bus routes as of June 8th. For a full list of these service changes, click here.
As of, Saturday, June 13th, the Express 181 route from the San Jose Diridon Station to the BART Warm Springs Station has been discontinued. Service is being replaced by the Rapid 500. The Rapid 500 route will operate between the Berryessa BART Station and Downtown San Jose. For more information, click here.
Fares & Boarding: Fare collection will resume on August 1. All VTA riders are required to wear face coverings beginning May 4th.
WestCat:
Route JX bus service has been suspended. Lynx Transbay Service to Salesforce Transit Center is operating on a Holiday/MLK Day Schedule. No school service.

Fares & Boarding: WestCAT is temporarily limiting passenger capacity on all buses in support of social distancing measures. Please be aware that you may be asked to wait for another bus if a bus has already reached a safe passenger capacity.
Fare collection has been suspended on all services including Paratransit. WestCat has implemented rear-door boarding on all fixed-route buses.
