Take note of the following travel disruptions across Scotland:

Royston Road in Glasgow closed 0930hrs to 1530hrs each day First Glasgow services 19/19A and McGills service 329 diverted. 12/11/2019 09:30 – 18/11/2019 15:30

• Services 19 towards Easterhouse: Normal route Castle Street at Junction 15 M8 on Slip, right Junction 15 on slip M8, M8, M8 off slip junction 14 Blochairn, left Viewpark Avenue left 1st exit on the roundabout Blochairn Road, right Royston Road normal route.
• Services 19 towards City Centre: Normal route Royston Road at Blochairn Road, left Blochairn Road, right 2nd exit on the roundabout Viewpark Avenue, right junction 14 M8 on slip, M8, M8 junction 15 off slip Stirling Road, Cathedral Street normal route.
• Services 19A towards Robroyston: Normal route Baird Street at Castle Street, right Castle Street, left Junction 15 on slip M8,  M8 off slip junction 14 Blochairn, left Viewpark Avenue left 1st exit on the roundabout Blochairn Road, right Royston Road normal route.
• Services 19A towards Buchanan Bus Station: Normal route Royston Road at Blochairn Road, left Blochairn Road, right 2nd exit on the roundabout Viewpark Avenue, right junction 14 M8 on slip, M8, M8 take 3rd lane Junction 15 off slip marked A803 Springburn, right Castle Street, left Baird Street normal route.
• McGills Service 329: City Centre – Roystonhill – Stobhill Hospital: Please note, due to resurfacing on Royston Road, this service will be diverted and will be unable to serve stops on Glenbarr Street, Rhymer Street, Roystonhill and  Millburn Street. Passengers are directed to alternative stops Castle Street , Glenconner Park or go to Alexandra Parade to connect with other services

 

Rutherglen Christmas Lights Switch On Multiple services diverted. 30/11/2019 06:00 – 30/11/2019 22:00

• First Service 7A Rutherglen/Bankhead – Glasgow: This service will be redirected and therefore unable to serve Main Street or Mill Street between Main Street and Bankhead Road, Rutherglen, for the duration of the event. Intending passengers should use an alternative stop on Bankhead Road opposite Chesters Place                                                       
• First Service 14 Rutherglen – Burnside – Fernhill: This service will be redirected and therefore unable to serve King Street or Main Street, west of Farmeloan Road for the duration of the event. Intending passengers should use an alternative stop on Caledonia Avenue (6150580).
• First Service 46 Queenslie – Cranhill – Greenfield – Rutherglen – Castlemilk: This service will be redirected and therefore unable to serve Main Street or Mill Street between Main Street and Rodger Drive, Rutherglen, for the duration of the event.  Intending passengers should use alternative stops on Stonelaw Road.                                                         
• First Service 89/90 Glasgow Inner Circle: This service will be redirected and therefore unable to serve Main Street, Rutherglen, for the duration of the event. Intending passengers should use alternative stops on Farmeloan Road                                                             
• McGills Service 165 Rutherglen – Cambuslang – Cairns: This service will be unable to serve King Street or Main Street, west of Farmeloan Road for the duration of the event. Intending passengers should use an alternative stop on Caledonia Avenue(6150580)                                                                   
• First Service M2 Toryglen – Croftfoot: This service will be redirected and therefore unable to serve Main Street, Rutherglen, for the duration of the event. Intending passengers should use alternative stops on Stonelaw Road

 

Cambuslang Christmas Lights Switch ON Diversions First Glasgow Service 7A and McGills services 64/164. 01/12/2019 06:00 – 01/12/2019 22:00

• McGills Service 64 164 Route Glasgow – Carmyle – Halfway: This service will be redirected and therefore unable to serve Bridge Street or Main Street for the duration of the event.Intending passengers should use an alternative stop on Hamilton Road east of Clydeford Road.

 

Perth: Christmas Light Switch-on, road closures 15-17 November. 15/11/2019 00:00 – 17/11/2019 23:59

• Stagecoach, Services 3/11/12: On Saturday, 16 November 2019 buses will not be able to serve Tay Street, High Street, or George Street. Passengers wishing to travel towards Gannochy and Scone should board their bus on South Street (Stop O).
• Stagecoach Service 7/7A/7B: From 1900 on Friday, 15 November 2019 until midnight on Sunday, 17 November 2019 buses will not be able to serve Tay Street, High Street, or George Street. Passengers wishing to travel towards Scone should board their bus on South Street (Stop M).
• Stagecoach Service 34C: On Saturday, 16 November 2019 buses will not be able to serve Tay Street, High Street, or George Street. Passengers wishing to travel towards Gannochy should board their bus on South Street (Stop O). Passengers wishing to travel towards Luncarty and Stanley should board their bus on Mill Street (Stop A).

 

Aberdeen Festive Market-multiple services diverted. 10/11/2019 08:00 – 05/01/2020 17:00

• Service 8 to ARI: Diverting via King Street and West North Street. Stopping points: all stops on West North Street. St Andrews Cathedral not used.
• Service 8 to Dubford: Diverting via Gallowgate, Littlejohn Street, West North Street, and King Street Stopping points: all stops on West North Street. St Andrews Cathedral not used.
• Service 11 to Woodend: Diverting via Gallowgate, Littlejohn Street, West North Street, and King Street. Stopping points: all stops on West North Street. St Andrews Cathedral not used.
• Service 11 to Northfield: Diverting via Castle Street, King Street, West North Street then normal route from Hutcheon Street. Stopping points: 1st bus stop at Castle Street (13/15 bus stop) and all stops on West North Street.
• Service 17/17A/172 to Faulds Gate: Diverting via Gallowgate, Littlejohn Street, West North Street, and King Street. Stopping points: all stops on West North Street. St Andrews Cathedral not used

 

Main Street in Neilston Closed. 08/12/2019 13:00 – 08/12/2019 21:00

• Diversion for service 166: Towards Neilston (Kingston Road) – normal route to Neilston Road at High street, left High Street, right Station Road, left Main Street and then normal route.  In reverse towards Paisley – Kingston Road, High Street Neilston Road and then normal route.

 

Aberfeldy Square: Chapel Street bus stop closure. 11/11/2019 00:00 – 20/11/2019 23:59

• Due to carriageway resurfacing works, the Chapel Street bus stop will be closed from Monday, 11 November 2019 for up to 8 days. All buses will be unable to serve Chapel Street during this time. Passengers are advised to board their bus at the temporary bus stop situated on Market Street. Works will not be undertaken at weekends and all buses will serve Chapel Street as normal.

 

Bus Stop Closures – 609028 (Renfield St before St Vincent St) and 609075(St Vincent St after Renfield St). 03/10/2019 00:00 – 29/11/2019 23:59

 

Hole Road in Coylton closed 0930hrs to 1530hrs each day Shuttle Buses service 347 diverted. 18/11/2019 09:30 – 22/11/2019 15:30

• Shuttle Buses Service 347 Rankinston – Ayr: Daily between 0930hrs and 1530hrs from Monday 18th November until Friday 29th November or earlier if works are complete.  Due to resurfacing on Hole Road Coylton, this service will be diverted Garvine Road, Laighpark Road and Ayr Road.. As a result the stops on Hole Road with the exception of the stop at Highpark Road will not be served during these times. Intending passengers are advised to go to alternative stops on Joppa.

 

Wishaw Christmas Lights Switch On Stuarts services 248, 248A, 248B, 365, 366 and 367 diverted. 15/11/2019 10:30 – 15/11/2019 20:00

• Stuarts Service 248/A/B Law – Wishaw General Hospital – Holytown – Airdrie – Monklands Hospital
• Stuarts Service 365/366/367 Harthill – Wishaw General Hospital – Ravenscraig Sports Centre
• Passengers please note, due to Wishaw Christmas Lights switch on his service will be diverted for the duration. There will be disruption to scheduled timetable during this period

 

Westland Drive in Glasgow closed service X4 diverted. 11/11/2019 08:00 – 11/01/2020 17:00

• Service X4 towards Knightswood: Normal route Clydeside Expressway at Balshagray overpass, take the right-hand lane off slip for Balshagray Avenue, Balshagray Avenue, left Victoria Park Drive North, right 2nd exit on the roundabout Westland Drive normal route.

 

Bus Stop Closure: 6090214 GLASGOW ROAD AT VICTORIA ST. 11/11/2019 08:00 – 22/11/2019 17:00

 

Paisley Road West closed Westbound (towards Paisley) Glasgow Citybus service 153 and First Glasgow services 9,9A,10 diverted. 11/11/2019 08:00 – 01/12/2019 17:00

• Glasgow Citybus Service 153 Glasgow – Silverburn: the westbound section of Paisley Road West between Broomloan Road and Helen Street , stops on this section will not be served. This service will be diverted via Edmiston Drive and Helen Street. Passengers are directed to alternative stops on Paisley Road West opposite Elizabeth Street and before Bellahouston Drive.
• Services 9/A & 10 towards Jura Street: Normal route Paisley Road West at Edmiston Drive right Edmiston Drive, ahead 2nd exit on the roundabout Edmiston Drive, left 1st exit on the roundabout Helen Street, right 2nd exit on the roundabout Paisley Road West normal route.

 

Sandbank Street in Maryhill closed. 05/11/2019 00:00 – 11/11/2019 17:00

• Service 8A towards Maryhill: Normal route Thornton Street at Sandbank Street, right Sandbank Street left Shiskine Drive, left Maryhill Road normal route 
• Service 8A towards Riddrie: Normal route Maryhill Road at Sandbank Street continue Maryhill Road, right Shiskine Drive, right Sandbank Street, left Thornton Street and normal route.

 

Lye Brae in Cumbernauld closed JD Coaches service 346 diverted. 18/11/2019 00:00 – 22/11/2019 23:59

• Due to the closure of Lye Brae (Eastbound Slip Road) to Forest Road Cumbernauld this bus will be redirected for duration of works. There will be disruption to scheduled timetable during this period.

• Service 6A towards Drumchapel: From George Square North, left North Frederick Street, left Cathedral Street, Bath Street, right Hope Street normal route.
• Service 18 towards Holland Street: Normal route Ingram Street at South Fredrick Street continue Ingram Street, right Queen Street, George Square West, right George Square North, left North Hanover Street, left Cathedral Street, Bath Street, normal route. 
• Service 21 towards Cathkin: Normal route George Square South at Queen Street, right George Square West, right George Square North, left North Hanover Street, left Cathedral Street, Bath Street, normal route.
• Service 41 towards West Regent Street: Normal route George Square South at Queen Street, right George Square West, right George Square North, left North Hanover Street, left Cathedral Street, Bath Street, left Renfield Street, left West Regent Street.

• Service X8 towards Silverburn: Normal route Renfield Street at St Vincent Street continue Renfield Street, Union Street, right Argyle Street, right Hope Street, left Waterloo Street normal route.

 

Edinburgh: Fountainbridge road closure. 18/09/19 00:00 – Until further notice

• Due to a road closure buses are unable to serve West Port, Fountainbridge and Dundee Street and are instead diverted via Lauriston Place, Earl Grey Street, Lothian Road and West Approach Road in both directions.

 

Bus Stop Closures – 609028 (Renfield St before St Vincent St) and 609075 (St Vincent St after Renfield St). 03/10/19 00:00 – 29/11/19 23:59

 

The Orchard in Tullibody closed. 30/09/19 08:00 – 01/12/19 17:00

• Services C2,C2A will not be able to serve The Orchard, Tullibody due to road maintenance. Passengers should make their way to Carseview and Newmills where the bus will operate Hail and Ride.

 

Portobello: Brighton Place closure and diversion. 07/01/19 00:00 – 20/12/19 23:59

• Due to works, Brighton Place is closed from Monday 7th January 2019 for approximately 50 weeks. Lothian Buses, Services 21, 42, 49 and 69 will divert during the works.

 

Highland Council: Ferry F10 (Fort William – Camusnagaul). 03/12/18 00:00 – Until further notice

• Customers should note the first journey on Ferry F10 on normal weekdays has been changed to depart Fort William at 07:40 instead of 07:45 as shown. This is to ensure a school bus connection is made at Camusnagaul on time.

 

Lochaline-Fishnish Ferry Will Be Passengers Only (NO CARS) from 21.10.19 – 01.12.19. 21/10/19 04:00 – 30/11/19 23:59

 

Penicuik: Rullion Road closure, Lothian X15, 37, X37, N37 diversion. 14/10/19 07:00 – 22/11/19 23:59

• Between Bog Road and Rullion Road, buses will operate via Carlops Road, John Street and Cuiken Terrace in both directions. Service N37 between Bog Road and Rullion Road will operate via Carlops Road, John Street and Cuiken Terrace.

 

First services 51,52,54,57 and 59 cannot serve Barnton Street, Murray Place and Station Road in Stirling. 17/11/19 14:00 – 17/11/19 15:00

• On Sunday 17 November 2019 between around 1400hrs and 1500hrs, First Midland Bluebird services 51, 52, 54, 57, 59 will operate direct via Goosecroft Road and will not serve bus stops on Barnton Street, Murray Place and Station Road.
• Nearest bus stops are on Goosecroft Road at Stirling Bus Station.

 

Bus stop changes Renfield Street in Glasgow. 19/10/19 05:00 – Until further notice

• On Saturday 19th October, until further notice Services 38, 38A,38B, 38C, 38E, 57 and 57A will temporary service stop 609025 Renfield Street after West Regent Street due to utility works

 

Raploch Road in Stirling partially closed First service 57 diverted. 08/11/19 09:00 – 18/11/19 17:00

• During the closure service 57 will operate via Back O’Hill Road, Glendevon Drive and Huntly Crescent. 
• This service will not serve: 
  • Raploch Road north of Huntly Crescent (use service 57 south of Huntly Crescent or services X10A and 59 on Drip Road)
  • Drip Road, Beatty Avenue, Ochil Crescent or Laurencroft Road (use services X10A or 59 on Drip Road)

 

Kelvindale Road in Glasgow closed First Glasgow service 94 diverted. 25/10/19 11:00 – Until further notice

 

• Service 94 towards Knightswood: Normal route Garrioch Road at Maryhill Road, right Maryhill Road, right Queen Margaret Drive, right Hotspur Street, right into Garrioch Road, left Garrioch Gate, left Wyndford Road normal route.

 

 

Ingram Street Bus Stop closed please go to stop in Glassford Street. 11/10/19 00:00 – Until further notice

 

Yuletide Festival Stagecoach service 585A diverted in West Kilbride. 06/12/19 17:00 – 06/12/19 22:00

• Due to the Yuletide Festival this service is diverted  and will not serve stops on Ritchie Street , Main Street , Well Street & Corse Street for the duration of the closure. Intending passengers on Well Street & Corse Street are directed to alternative stops on Portencross Road and passengers on Ritchie Street are directed to alternative stops on St Brides Road

 

Hamilton Road in Blantyre closed First Glasgow service 205 diverted. 17/11/19 08:00 – 23/11/19 17:00

• Intending passengers please note, due to resurfacing works on Hamilton Road,Blantyre  service 205 will be redirected via Douglas Street and will therefore be unable to serve stops on Hamilton Road. As a result, the service is likely to be subject to delay and disruption, and intending passengers of these areas should use alternative stops on Hunthill Road.

 

Lanark Christmas Fair Stuarts services 9,135,137 and 317 diverted. 16/11/19 09:00 – 16/11/19 20:00

• Passengers please note that due to the Lanark Christmas Fair service 9 will be redirected and therefore unable to serve High Street for the duration of the event. Intending passengers should use an alternative stops at Lanark Interchange or West Port. 

 

Paisley Road West closed Westbound (towards Paisley) Glasgow Citybus service 153 diverted. 11/11/19 08:00 – 02/12/19 17:00

• Due to Scottish Water works on the westbound section of Paisley Road West between Broomloan Road and Helen Street , stops on this section will not be served. This service will be diverted via Edmiston Drive and Helen Street. Passengers are directed to alternative stops on Paisley Road West opposite Elizabeth Street and before Bellahouston Drive.

• Service 128 towards City Centre: Normal route Saracen Street at Possil Road, right Possil Road, left Garscube Road, left Cowcaddens Road, right Port Dundas Road normal route.

• On Saturday 19th October, until further notice Services 38, 38A,38B, 38C, 38E, 57 and 57A will temporary service stop 609025 Renfield Street after West Regent Street due to utility works.
