Here are important issues that may affect your journey:

• East Kilbride Road at Cathkin closed- First Glasgow service 18 diverted 25/08/19 07:00 – 01/09/19 17:00
  • Service 18 towards Holland Street: Normal route East Kilbride Road at Cathkin By Pass, left 1st exit on the roundabout Cathkin By Pass, right Burnside Road, Stonelaw Road normal route.
  • Service 18 towards East Kilbride Road: Normal route Stonelaw Road at East Kilbride Road, continue Burnside Road, left Cathkin By Pass, right 3rdexit on the Roundabout East Kilbride Road normal route

 

• Dumbarton: Stirling Road closure, First 1E, 206 diversions, shuttle buses running 12/08/19 00:00 – 08/09/19 23:59
  • From Monday 12th August until Sunday 8th September, Stirling Road, Dumbarton will be closed for works. During the closures, First Glasgow, Services 1E and 206 will be diverted in both directions. A temporary First Glasgow shuttle bus will run between Bonhill and Alexandria Main Street/Bank Street.

 

• Cowgate in Kirkintilloch closed-multiple services diverted 01/09/19 06:00 – 01/09/19 22:00
  • Services X85 towards Campsie Glen: Normal route Cowgate at Catherine Street, right Catherine Street, left New Lairdsland Road, right Glasgow Road normal route.
  • Service X87 towards Waterside: Normal route Cowgate at Catherine Street, right Catherine Street, left New Lairdsland Road, right High Street normal route.
  • Service 88 towards Harestanes: Normal route Cowgate at Catherine Street, right Catherine Street right New Lairdsland Road normal route.
  • Service 89 towards Kilsyth: Normal route to Glasgow Road at West High Street left 1st exit on the roundabout Glasgow Road, right New Lairdsland Road, right 3rd exit on the roundabout Waterside Road, right Townhead, Cowgate, right Catherine Street normal route.
  • Service 89 towards Glasgow: Normal route to Catherine Street at Cowgate left Cowgate, left Waterside Road, left 1st exit on the roundabout New Lairdsland Road, left Glasgow Road normal route.

 

• A70 closed between Rigside and Hyndford Road- Stuarts services 9/259 diverted 31/08/19 09:00 – 01/09/19 17:00
  • Please note, due to resurfacing works on A70 beteween Rigside & Hydford Road this service will be diverted via Kirkfieldbank Roads. Stops on the A70 and Hyndford Road , will not be served for the duration.

 

• A719 Dunure Road closed- Stagecoach service 361 diverted 19/08/19 09:30 – 30/08/19 15:30
  • Disruption due to a road closure From Monday 19th August, 2019 between 0930hrs and 1530hrs each day, for approximately 2 weeks.
  • The A719 Dunure Road is closed between Old Lagg Farm and Fisherton for carriageway resurfacing.Service 361 will divert between Burns Cottage and Arran View, Dunure via Culroy and Maybole. The service will return to Burns Cottage via Fisherton, Maybole and Culroy.Service 361 may suffer delays throughout its route due to the length of the diversion.

 

• University Avenue in Glasgow closed-Citybus service 15 and First Glasgow services 4/4A diverted 31/08/19 06:00 – 02/09/19 06:00
  • Service 4/A towards Broomhill: Normal route Woodlands Road at Eldon Street, right 3rd exit on the roundabout Woodlands Road, right 3rd exit Park Road, left Great Western Road, left Byres Road, right Highburgh Road normal route.
  • Service 4/A towards Clarkston: Normal route Highburgh Road at Byres Road left Byres Road, Queen Margaret Drive circle the roundabout return Queen Margaret Drive, left Great Western Road, right Park Road, left 1st exit on the roundabout Woodlands Road, ahead 1st exit on the roundabout Woodlands Road normal route
  • Glasgow Citybus Service 15: Disruption and diversion due to a road closure from 0600hrs on Saturday 31st August until 0600hrs on Monday 2nd September. Due to works at the above location this service will be diverted and no stops will be served on University Avenue on the above dates and times. Intending passengers are directed to alternative stops on Kelvin Way or Byres Road.

 

• Edinburgh: High Street and Canongate diversion (Service 35) 28/07/19 00:00 – 01/09/19 23:59
  • Lothian Buses, Service 35 will not serve the High Street and Canongate in Edinburgh from 28th July until 2nd Sept 2019. service 35 will divert between South Bridge and Easter Road, and will operate via North Bridge, Waterloo Place and Regent Road

 

• Glasgow: Robslee Road closure, First Glasgow 38/A/B/C/E and McGills 374 diversions 17/06/19 08:00 – 20/09/19 17:00
  • Service 38/A/B/C/E towards Rouken Glen: Normal route Orchard Park Avenue at Robslee Road continue Orchard Park Avenue, left Thornliebank Main Street, Spiersbridge Road, right 3rd exit roundabout Nitshill Road and normal route.
  • Service 38/A towards Newton Mearns: Normal route Orchard Park Avenue at Robslee Road continue Orchard Park Avenue, left Thornliebank Main Street, Spiersbridge Road, left 1st exit roundabout Rouken Glen Road to Eastwood Toll and normal route.
  • Service 38/A/B/C/E towards City Centre: Normal route Nitshill Road at Spiersbridge Road left Spiersbridge Road, Thornliebank Main Street, right Orchard Park Avenue and normal route.
  • Service 38/A towards City Centre from Eastwood Toll: Normal route Ayr Road at Eastwood Toll left 1st exit roundabout Rouken Glen Road, right 3rd exit roundabout Spiersbridge Road, Thornliebank Main Street, right Orchard Park Avenue and normal route.
  • McGills service 374: Buses will be diverted via Rockmount Avenue and Sherwood Drive

 

• Portobello: Brighton Place closure and diversion 07/01/19 00:00 – 20/12/19 23:59
  • Due to works, Brighton Place is closed from Monday 7th January 2019 for approximately 50 weeks. Lothian Buses, Services 21, 42, 49 and 69 will divert during the works

 

• Dalry Road in Stewarton closed- Shuttle Buses services 219/319 diverted 02/09/19 – 09:30 02/09/19 15:30
  • Due to Scottish Water works on Dalry Road, Stewarton, this service will be diverted and as a result stops on Kinloch Avenue, Elgin Avenue , Kirkmuir Drive , and Braemore Road will not be served.

 

• Edinburgh: Hyvots Bank, Gilmerton Dykes Street roadworks, Lothian 11, N11 diverted 21/08/19 08:30 – 31/08/19 23:59
  • Due to works, Lothian Buses services 11 and N11 are unable to serve the Hyvots Bank terminus from 0830hrs on Wednesday 21 August for approximately 10 days. Buses will be unable to serve Gilmerton Dykes Street and will be diverted via Lasswade Road in both directions.

 

• Aberdeen: Balnagask Circle closed, First Aberdeen 20, 22A diversions 20/08/19 07:00 – 03/09/19 23:59
  • Balnagask Circle, Aberdeen will be closed at junction of Girdleness Road from 07:00 on 20 August for approx 2 weeks. First Aberdeen, Services 20 and 22A will divert.

 

• Aberdeen: Kings Gate closure at Forest Road, First Aberdeen 13 diverted 12/08/19 – 00:00 22/09/19 23:59
  • Kings Gate, Aberdeen closed between 12th August until 22 September at Forest Road. First Aberdeen, Service 13 will divert in both directions.

 

• Aberdeen: High Street closure, First Aberdeen 20 diverted 15/07/19 08:00 – 08/09/19 17:00
  • High Street will be closed in both directions from Monday 15 July for up to 8 weeks.
  • Service 20 heading to Hillhead – From Mounthooly Way: continue straight on to traffic lights of King Street, turn left into King Street, continue along King Street, continue on normal route to Hillhead. Same diversion heading back to city centre. Buses will use all stops on King Street while on diversion.

 

• A9, St Ninians Toll eastbound road closure: First Scotland East 38, 51, 54 diversions 03/07/19 08:00 – 28/08/19 17:00
  • From Wednesday 3rd July 2019 the A9 Bannockburn Road will be closed between the St Ninians Toll Roundabout to the corner of Mayfield Street Eastbound Only.
  • Due to this the 38, 51 & 54 service will have to divert Glasgow Road, Maitland Crescent, Hill Street then normal route on Bannockburn Road.
  • The 51 service will not serve the bus stop at the Hollybank as this will raise a safety concern crossing over into Maitland Crescent. There will be a temporary bus stop on Maitland Crescent for intending passengers to Stirling.
  • The 51 service Cowie bound, 54 Service Bridge of Allan-bound and Service 38 Stirling-bound remain unaffected.

 

• Stewarton: High Street works, Stagecoach 219/319 and Shuttle Buses 113 diverted 24/06/19 00:05 – 31/08/19 23:59
  • Stagecoach West. Scotland Service 219/319 – Stewarton Local
    • Disruption and diversion due to a road closure from 0001hrs on Monday 24th June until 0000hrs on Saturday 31st August. Due to Scottish Water works on High Street, Stewarton, this service will be diverted and as a result the timetable will be subject to disruption.
  • Shuttle Buses Service 113 – Irvine – Kilmaurs – Stewarton
    • Disruption and diversion due to a road closure from 0001hrs on Monday 24th June until 0000hrs on Saturday 31st August. Due to Scottish Water works on High Street, Stewarton, this service will be diverted via Vennel Street. Stops on High Street or Old Mill View will not be served. Passengers are directed to alternative stops on Lainshaw Street and Robertland Rigg.

 

• Highland Council: Ferry F10 (Fort William – Camusnagaul) 03/12/18 00:00 – Until further notice
  • Customers should note the first journey on Ferry F10 on normal weekdays has been changed to depart Fort William at 07:40 instead of 07:45 as shown. This is to ensure a school bus connection is made at Camusnagaul on time.

 

• Castleview Park and Ride site in Stirling closed 05/09/19 05:00 – 19/09/19 22:59
  • The Castleview Park and Ride site will be temporarily closed from Thursday 5 September until Thursday 19 September 2019 ( for the shuttle bus operation to Gleneagles for the Solheim Cup). During the closure the Castleview Park and Ride service P2 will start and terminate at Castle Business Park , 2 minutes before / after the times for Castleview P&R times

 

• A736 & A735 Dunlop Road closed- McGills service 337 diverted 29/08/19 08:00 – 05/09/19 17:59
  • McGills Service 337: Kilmarnock – Beith
    • Disruption due to a road closure from Thursday 29th August to Thursday 5th September 2019 (no works on Saturday 31st August or Sunday 1st September). Due to resurfacing on A736 & A735 Dunlop Road this service will be diverted via the B706 and cannot serve Lugton. Intending passengers for Lugton are advised to make alternative travel arrangements. In addition , due to the diversion this service will be unable to serve the stops on Lugton Road, Dunlop(Glendale). Intending passengers are directed to alternative stops on A736 Stewarton Road, Dunlop. Due to the diversion the timetable may be subject to delays.

 

• Woodside Avenue in Rutherglen closed- First Glasgow service 14 diverted 26/08/19 09:00 – 30/08/19 17:00
  • Service 14 towards Rutherglen: Normal route Woodside Avenue at Richmond Drive left Richmond Drive, right Dunbar Avenue, right Waverley Drive, left Woodside Avenue normal route.
  • Service 14 towards Fernhill: Normal route Woodside Avenue at Waverley Drive, right Waverley Drive, left Dunbar Avenue, right Richmond Drive normal route.

 

• Souterhead Road Altens is closed from 26 August until 15 September First Aberdeen service 18 diverted 26/08/19 00:00 – 15/09/19 17:00
  • Service 18 AM: when serving Altens: After serving Hareness recycling centre: at the roundabout continue straight ahead, turn left into Crawpeel Road, at the roundabout resume normal route
  • Service 18 PM: when serving Altens: From the first roundabout on Souterhead Road: turn left into Crawpeel

 

• Gauze Street in Paisley closed Eastbound only-First Glasgow service 9 diversion changed 19/08/19 00:00 – 16/09/19 17:00
  • Service 9 towards Buchanan Bus Station: Normal route Witherspoon Street at Causeyside Street continue Orchard Street, Bridge Street, Cotton Street, right Gauze Street normal route.

 

• Aberdeen: Stronsay Drive closure, First Aberdeen 13 diversion 13/08/19 00:00 – 17/09/19 23:59
  • First Aberdeen, Service 13 heading to Scatterburn will divert: From last stop on Kings Gate (after Anderson Drive roundabout): turn right into Summerhill Road, continue straight up to traffic lights, left into Lang Stracht, continue on normal route.
  • Service 13 heading to Golf Links will divert – From Lang Stracht: turn right into Summerhill Drive, resume normal route.
  • All stops along Lang Stracht will be served while this diversion is in operation.

 

• Newhouse: A775 Edinburgh Road closure, multiple bus diversions 12/08/19 00:00 – 29/09/19 23:59
  • Service 2 or 202 towards Maxim Park: Normal route Bellside Road at Lancaster Avenue, right 2nd exit on the roundabout, Lancaster Avenue, left first exit on the roundabout B799 Bo Ness Road, ahead 2nd exit on the roundabout B799 Bo Ness Road, right 3rd exit roundabout McNeil Drive normal route.
  • Service 2 or 202 towards Airdrie: Normal route McNeil Drive at B799 Bo Ness Road, 2nd exit on the roundabout Bo Ness Road, ahead 3rd exit on the roundabout Bo Ness Road, right 2nd exit on the roundabout Lancaster Avenue, left 1st exit on the roundabout Bellside Road normal route.
  • McNairn 16, McGill’s 202, Stuart’s Coaches 236 service buses will be diverted as follows: Towards Carnbroe/Monklands/Bellshill – Buses follow normal route to Edinburgh Road at Biggar Road, right at next roundabout, Glasgow and Edinburgh Road, Sandyford, Rowantree Avenue, Kirk Road, right Edinburgh Road and then normal route
