SEPTA Service Advisory for the Wilmington/Newark Line
Weekday and Saturday & Sunday Service Delays (beginning Sunday, May 21 through end of service, Friday, June 30, 2017)
- Amtrak crews will begin a rail improvement project on Sunday that includes the replacement of more than 14,000 rail ties and track over a 5-mile span between Wilmington and Claymont Stations.
Users should expect the following impacts to Weekday and Saturday & Sunday service:
- Service toward Center City: Trains originating from Newark and Wilmington Stations may operate up to 20 minutes later than regularly scheduled.
- Service towards Newark: Trains making stops at Wilmington, Churchmans Crossing, and Newark Stations may operate with up to 20 minute delays after departing Claymont Station.
