Dear riders,

We have collected several public transit updates for the upcoming Shavuot holiday this week.


πŸšΒ πŸš„Β πŸš‘Β Service Lines – Buses, Israel Railways, Rachbalit, The Light Rail

🌼 Shavuot Eve – Sunday, June 1st

On Shavuot eve, most bus lines will operate according to Friday schedules.

There will be an additional service on selected lines. In order to view the full schedules, type in the line number in the Lines tab.

🌼 Shavuot – Monday, June 2nd

On Shavuot, public transit lines will operate according to Saturday schedule.


🚈 The Gush Dan Light Rail – Dankal

🌼 On Sunday, 1.6, the eve of the Shavuot holiday, the light rail will operate on a Friday schedule. Accordingly:

  • Line R1 – From Petah Tikva Central Station to Komemiyut, Bat Yam, will end service at 17:10
  • Line R2 – From Komemiyut, Bat Yam to Petah Tikva Central Station, will end service at 17:40
  • Line R3 – From Kiryat Aryeh, Petah Tikva to Elifelet Station, Tel Aviv, will end service at 17:50
  • Line R3 – From Elifelet Station, Tel Aviv to Kiryat Aryeh, Petah Tikva, will end service at 18:05

🌼 Eve of Shavuot – June 1st:

  • Last train from Neve Yaakov North to Givat HaMivtar at 17:20
  • Last train from Central Station to Hadassah Ein Kerem at 17:45
  • Last train from Hadassah Ein Kerem to Central Station at 17:48
  • Last train from Givat HaMivtar to Neve Yaakov North at 17:28

🌼  Shavuot – June 2nd:

  • First train from Neve Yaakov North to Givat HaMivtar at 21:02, operating until midnight
  • First train from Central Station to Hadassah Ein Kerem at 21:06
  • First train from Hadassah Ein Kerem to Central Station at 21:00, operating until midnight
  • First train from Givat HaMivtar to Neve Yaakov North at 21:30, operating until midnight

On Shavuot 2025, trains will operate according to a dedicated schedule, which includes the reinforcement and extension of existing train routes.

🌼 On Shavuot Eve (Sunday, 1.6.25):

  • Passenger trains will operate between the hours of 6:00–17:00 in an enhanced format, based on Friday schedules.
  • The frequency of trains on the Haifa – Tel Aviv line will be two trains every hour (instead of one every hour), as well as an increased train service on the Dimona – Be’er Sheva line.

🌼 Shavuot Day (Monday, 2.6.25):

  • Passenger trains will operate between the hours of 21:30–24:00 in an enhanced format, based on the Saturday Evening schedules with the addition of train service on the Haifa – Tel Aviv line and the Dimona – Be’er Sheva line.

🚍 Travel with Naim Busofash and Sababus Ramat Gan

The Naim Busofash (Χ’Χ™Χ¨Χ™Χ™Χͺ Χͺל אביב-Χ™Χ€Χ•) lines and the Sababus (Χ’Χ™Χ¨Χ™Χ™Χͺ רמΧͺ Χ’ΧŸ) lines will operate during Shavuot eve, Sunday, 1/6, and on Shavuot holiday, Monday, 2/6, on a weekend schedule!

It is recommended to plan your trip in advance πŸš₯. *There might be unexpected changes.*

Moovit is updated with latest changes that are being published by the bus operators and the Ministry of Transportation.
