After the holiday season, train maintenance is back on track like our daily life.
From this Friday, all 35 stations on EWL from Tuas Link to Pasir Ris and from Tanah Merah to Changi Airport will have shorter operational hours.
Here is an overview of the plan.
It lasts from Friday, 2 March to Sunday, 1 April 2018.
These stations will close earlier and open later on weekends and selected weekdays to allow more testing of the new signalling system, as well as carrying out more engineering works.
In order to decrease the impact you commuters, SMRT will provide 6 shuttle bus services and 4 express bus services.
Shuttles will run parallel to stretches of the EWL and stop at designated pick-up and drop-off points near MRT stations along the way.
