Today from 12:00pm to 6:00pm is the annual parade in Trafalgar square, one of the busiest events of the year. With these crowds and road closures, also come inevitable transport changes. Check “Service Status” in the “More” menu or see below to see if there are any disruptions on your usual line.
Tube and Rail, the best option
Although stations around the event area may be busier than usual, including:
- Green Park (Piccadilly, Jubilee, Victoria lines)
- Leicester Square (Piccadilly, Northern lines)
- Charing Cross (Northern, Bakerloo lines)
- Piccadilly Circus (Piccadilly, Bakerloo lines)
- Embankment (Northern, Circle, District, Bakerloo lines)
NOTE: There are no Tube engineering works taking place over this weekend.
Bus Changes
NOTE: These changes are not reflected in the app, so please read carefully.
The following bus routes will be diverted or terminate early from 06:00 to 15:00: 3, 6, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 19, 22, 23, 24, 29, 38, 87, 88, 91, 94, 139, 159, 176, 453, C2.
Early morning changes
On Sunday 13 March filming will taking place in Westminster. Buses running through central London will be diverted and terminate early from 06:15 to 08:30. These include: 3, 11, 12, 15, 24, 29, 87, 88, 91, 148, 159, 211, 453, 507, C10.
