Here’s the update on scheduled trackwork affecting services. Plan your trip and work out any extra travel time you need.
T1 North Shore Line
Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 July
- Buses replace trains between Berowra and Hornsby.
- From 11.30pm Saturday until 5.30am Sunday, trains run between Hornsby and Wynyard only. Buses replace all trains between Central and Strathfield.
T1 Western & Richmond Line
Tuesday 9, Wednesday 10 and Friday 12 July
- Buses replace the 00:24 Central to Penrith service from Lidcombe to Parramatta.
Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 July
- Richmond trains run between Richmond and Olympic Park only. Please change at Parramatta if you are travelling to or from the City.
- From 11.30pm Saturday until 5.30am Sunday, buses replace all trains between Strathfield and Central.
T2 Inner West and Leppington Line✈️
Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 July
- Leppington trains run to a changed timetable between Leppington and Strathfield via Granville only. Please change at Strathfield for trains to and from the City.
- From 11.30pm Saturday until 5.30am Sunday, buses replace all trains between Ashfield and Central.
T3 Bankstown Line
Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 July
- Trains run between Liverpool, Lidcombe and Sydenham only.
- From 11.30pm Saturday until 2am Sunday, trains run between Liverpool, Lidcombe and the City Circle.
T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line
Monday 8 to Friday 12 July
- Buses replace trains between Cronulla and Sutherland.
- Direct buses run to and from the City during peak times.
Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 July
- Buses replace trains between Cronulla and Sutherland.
- Each day from 6.30am until 8am, Cronulla trains run between Mortdale and Bondi Junction only.
T5 Cumberland Line
Tuesday 9 July
- From 11.50pm until 1.30am, some trains run to a changed timetable between Richmond and Granville, and between Granville and Leppington only.
The 00:17 Leppington to Richmond service will be replaced by from Liverpool to Parramatta.
T6 Carlingford Line
Monday 8 to Thursday 11 July
- Nightly from 9.10pm until 1.30am ,buses replace trains between Clyde and Carlingford.
T9 Northern Line
Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 July
- Buses replace trains between Hornsby and Rhodes.
- From 11.30pm Saturday until 5.30am Sunday, buses replace trains between Hornsby, Strathfield and Central.
Blue Mountains Line 🛤
Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 July
- Trains run between Blue Mountains Line stations and Strathfield only.
- From 11.30pm Saturday until 5.30am Sunday, buses replace trains between Strathfield and Central.
Central Coast & Newcastle Line
Monday 8, Tuesday 9 and Thursday 11 July
- Nightly from 10.50pm until 2am, buses replace trains between Wyong and Gosford.
Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 July
- Buses replace trains between Newcastle Interchange and Central.
- On Monday morning, buses replace the 00:48 Central to Wyong service.
Hunter Line
Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 July
- Buses replace trains between Scone, Dungog and Newcastle Interchange.
