The 39th annual Kingdom Day Parade honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., is this Monday, Jan. 15, at 10 a.m.
Skip traffic and parking, and get to the parade with public transit!
Here’s how to get to the parade on Metro:
•Two K Line stations are just a few steps from the parade route: the aptly-named Martin Luther King, Jr. Station at Crenshaw Boulevard and MLK Jr. Boulevard and Leimert Park Station at Crenshaw and Vernon Avenue.
•The K Line is easily reached via the E Line’s Expo/Crenshaw Station. From the station, cross Exposition Boulevard to the K Line’s underground Expo/Crenshaw Station.
Reminder:
There will be detours for Metro Bus Lines 40, 102 and 210 in the area around the parade. Signs will be posted at bus stops and detour routes are available on our service advisories page.
