On Thursday, 29.5.25, summer events will take place in Tel Aviv: the State Cup final at Bloomfield Stadium, Aviv Geffen’s Rock Ball at Yarkon Park, and Student Day at Tel Aviv University.

As part of the anticipation of the high demand and traffic congestion that will accompany at these events, Israel Railways and Tevel Metro (the Gush Dan Light Rail operator) joined forces, increasing the heavy and light train traffic. This is in order to provide the best train service to passengers and reduce Traffic congestion in the area.

    • On Israel Railways, 19 special trains will operate, the routes of which will be extended.
    • The Light Rail will extend its operating hours until 2:00 AM.

Special Trains Departing from Tel Aviv University Station:

  • Special Trains: Tel Aviv University – Nahariya (8188, 8190, 8192, 8194)
    Stops will include: Herzliya, Beit Yehoshua, Netanya, Hadera West, Binyamina, Haifa Hof HaCarmel, Haifa Bat Galim, Haifa Center , HaMifrats Central Station, Kiryat Haim, Kiryat Motzkin, Akko, and Nahariya (last stop).
    Estimated Departure Times: 23:05, 23:20, 23:45, 00:01.

 

  • Special Trains: Tel Aviv University – Ashkelon (8691, 8693, 8695)
    Stops will include: Tel Aviv Savidor Center, Tel Aviv HaShalom, Tel Aviv HaHagana, Holon Junction, Holon Wolfson, Bat Yam Yoseftal, Bat Yam Komemiyut, Rishon LeZion Moshe Dayan, Yavne West, Ashdod, and Ashkelon (last stop).
    Estimated Departure Times: 23:10, 23:45, 00:01.

 

  • Special Trains: Tel Aviv University – Modi’in Center (8183, 8181)
    Stops will include: Tel Aviv Savidor Center, Tel Aviv HaShalom, Tel Aviv HaHagana, Ben Gurion Airport, Pa’atei Modi’in, and Modi’in Center (last stop).
    Estimated Departure Times: 23:15, 23:55.

 

  • Special Train: Tel Aviv University – Be’er Sheva Center (8053)
    Stops will include: Tel Aviv HaHagana, Kiryat Gat, Lehavim-Rahat, Be’er Sheva North, and Be’er Sheva Center (last stop).
    Estimated Departure Time: 23:50.

 

  • Special Train: Tel Aviv University – Be’er Sheva Center (8055)
    Stops will include: Tel Aviv Savidor Center, Tel Aviv HaShalom, Tel Aviv HaHagana, Lod Ganei Aviv, Lod, Ramla, Mazkeret Batya, Kiryat Malachi, Kiryat Gat, Lehavim-Rahat (last stop).
    Estimated Departure Time: 00:20.

 

  • Special Train: Tel Aviv University – Herzliya (through HaSharon stations) (8694)
    Stops will include: Bnei Brak, Petah Tikva Kiryat Aryeh, Petah Tikva Sgula, Rosh Ha’Ayin North, Kfar Saba Nordau, Hod HaSharon, Ra’anana South, Ra’anana West, and Herzliya (last stop).
    Estimated Departure Time: 23:15.

 

  • Special Train: Tel Aviv University – Ashkelon (through Lod station) (8289)
    Stops will include: Tel Aviv Savidor Center, Tel Aviv HaShalom, Tel Aviv HaHagana, Kfar Chabad, Lod Ganne Aviv, Lod, Be’er Ya’akov, Rehovot, Yavne East, Ashdod Ad Halom, and Ashkelon (last stop).

Extension of Regular Trains:

  • Regular Trains: Jerusalem Yitzhak Navon – Binyamina (782, 784)
    The route will be extended, and the train will stop at Tel Aviv University Station at 23:48 and 00:15.
    Additional stops will be added at the following stations: Beit Yehoshua, Netanya, Hadera, and Binyamina (last stop).

 

  • Regular Trains: Lehavim-Rahat – Herzliya (54, 56)
    The route will be extended, and the train will stop at Tel Aviv Savidor Center Station at 23:15 and 00:20.
    Additional stops will be added at the following stations: Tel Aviv University, Bnei Brak, Petah Tikva Kiryat Aryeh, Petah Tikva Sgula, Rosh Ha’Ayin North, Kfar Saba Nordau, Hod HaSharon, Ra’anana South, Ra’anana West, and Herzliya (last stop).

 

  • Regular Train: Binyamina – Rehovot (289)
    The route will be extended, and the train will stop at Tel Aviv University Station at 23:19.
    Additional stops will be added at the following stations: Yavne East, Ashdod Ad Halom, and Ashkelon (last stop).

 

  • Regular Train: Tel Aviv University – Lehavim-Rahat (53)
    The train will start its journey at Tel Aviv University Station (instead of Tel Aviv Savidor Center Station) at 23:04.

 

  • Regular Train: Modi’in Center – Nahariya (186)
    The route will be extended, and the train will stop at Tel Aviv University Station at 23:32.
    Additional stops will be added at the following stations: Herzliya, Bet Yehoshua, Netanya, and Hadera West.
  • Regular Train: Herzliya – Jerusalem (6701) which departs from Herzliya at 00:40.
    Additional stops will be added at the following stations: Tel Aviv University.

 

    • Regular Train: Ben Gurion Airport – Nahariya (6002) which departs from Nahariya at 00:11.
      Additional stops will be added at the following stations: Tel Aviv University.

πŸš†The Light Rail Dankal

The red line of the light rail in the Dan Gush, operated by Tevel, will operate with high frequency and provide a direct connection from Tel Aviv Savidor Center station to the Elifelet, Shlomo, and Bloomfield stations, which are located near the Stadium.

For fans attending the State Cup final, it is recommended to take Israel Railways to Tel Aviv Savidor Center station and from there continue by Light Rail to Bloomfield Stadium.
Regular trains will be available to fans, which will operate between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem Yitzhak Navon stations throughout the night.

In addition, special trains will be available, which will operate according to demand.

The Light Rail will extend its operating hours until 2:00 AM.
