All lines will be impacted by track closures on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 January. During this closure timetabled railbuses will be runining to replace trains to help you get where you need to be.
Timetabled railbuses will replace trains from Northgate to Bowen Hills, Eagle Junction to Roma Street and Park Road to Moorooka stations.
All lines will continue to be affected after this closure. Please allow extra travel time and plan your journey to find your fastest travel option.
Note: Bikes and e-scooters are not permitted on railbuses.
Travel changes
- Airport line trains will run between Eagle Junction and Domestic Airport station
- Trains travelling from the Airport will then continue to Caboolture after Eagle Junction, running express between Eagle Junction and Petrie, stopping at Northgate and Geebung.
- Beenleigh line trains will run between Beenleigh and Bowen Hills station only
- Running express between Moorooka and Roma Street stations via the Tennyson loop in both directions
- Caboolture line trains will run between Caboolture and Eagle Junction station only, running express between Petrie and Eagle Junction stopping at Geebung and Northgate stations
- Trains will then run between Eagle Junction and Domestic Airport station until 10pm
- Cleveland line trains will run between Cleveland and Bowen Hills stations only
- Doomben line trains will run between Doomben and Eagle Junction stations only
- Gold Coast line trains will run express between Altandi and Roma Street station via the Tennyson loop in both directions, stopping at Banoon station and terminating at Bowen Hills station
- Ipswich line trains will run between Ipswich and Bowen Hills stations only
- Redcliffe Peninsula line trains will run between Kippa-Ring and Northgate stations only
- Shorncliffe line trains will run between Shorncliffe and Northgate station only
- Springfield line trains will run between Springfield and Bowen Hills station only
- Sunshine Coast line trains will run between Gympie North/Nambour and Eagle Junction stations only, running express between Petrie and Eagle Junction stopping at Geebung and Northgate stations
- Trains will then run between Eagle Junction and Domestic Airport stations until 10pm
- Some Gold Coast and Logan train and bus connections will also be affected.
Airtrain information
- Airport line services will run between Domestic Airport and Eagle Junction.
- An express railbus will operate between Eagle Junction and Roma Street.
