Train Service Changes 🚆 and Emek Hefer Lines 🚍

Dear passengers,

We have collected main transportation updates you should know: 

 

🚆 Train Service Changes due to Ashkelon station closure

Due to electrification work, starting tonight (Thursday), until Monday (16.3.2020) at 05:00  there will be train service changes as follows:

 

March 13-14 (Friday – Saturday)

  1. Between Raanana West and Bnei Brak
  2. Between Tel Aviv Hagana and Ashdod Ad Halom
  3. Between Sderot and Beer Sheva Central

 

March 15-16 (Sunday – Monday)

  1. Southbound trains will operate between Beer Sheva and Sderot
  2. Northbound trains will operate  between Raanana and Ashdod Ad Halom

 

March 15-18 (Sunday – Wednesday between 21:30 – 04:30)

  1. Between Raanana West and Bnei Brak
  2. Between Tel Aviv Hagana and Ashdod Ad Halom
  3. Between Sderot and Beer Sheva Central

 

For your convenience, during the closures, there will be free shuttles operating between the closed stations. Schedules and routes can be found in Moovit. In addition, the following bus lines will have additional service: 300 and 304 (Egged), 364 and 464 (Dan South) 

 

🚌 New Public Transportation in Emek Hefer!

Last week, the Hefer Lines project was initiated by the Emek Hefer Regional Council, the Ministry of Transport and the Netivi Ayalon Company. The project aims to make accessibility to public transit easier, more efficient, and faster for the residents of Hefer.

5 unique lines will operate during the day as follows:

 

Line 101 Yikon <-> Hadera

Lina 102 Michmoret <-> Netanya Train Station (Western Entrance)

Line 103 Bat Hefer <-> Netanya Train Station (Western Entrance)

Line 105 Alon Commercial Center <-> Netanya Train Station

Line 106 Alon Commercial Center <-> Savidor Central Tel Aviv Station
