Bakerloo Line
A strike is planned by Bakerloo line operators from the RMT union between tomorrow, Friday 21 February, and Monday 24 February. If the strike goes ahead, services will be severely affected on the Bakerloo line.
Customers should complete their journeys on the Bakerloo line by 12:00 on Friday, and use alternative routes for the rest of the strike. Where possible, please travel outside of the peaks and avoid main interchange stations like Paddington during the Monday morning peak, as they are expected to be extremely busy.
On Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 February, Bakerloo trains will not stop at Paddington station. This is due to station works. Use alternative Tube or local bus routes.
Circle Line
On Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 February, there will be no service on the entire line. This is due to line modernisation work. Use alternative Tube or local bus routes.
District Line
On Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 February, there will be no service between South Kensington and East Ham. This is due to line modernisation work. Use alternative Tube, local or replacement bus services. Rail replacement buses will run between Liverpool Street and Barking, and between Canning Town and Barking.
Hammersmith & City Line
On Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 February, there will be no service between Baker Street and Barking. This is due to line modernisation work. Use alternative Tube, local or replacement bus services. Rail replacement buses will run between Liverpool Street and Barking, and between Canning Town and Barking.
Metropolitan Line
On Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 February, there will be no service between Baker Street and Aldgate. This is due to line modernisation work. Use alternative Tube or local bus routes.
Overground
On Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 February, trains will not stop at Whitechapel station, including during Friday and Saturday Night Overground service. This is due to London Underground line modernisation work. Use local bus routes 205 to/from Shoreditch High Street or route D3 to/from Shadwell.
Network Rail is carrying out work which will affect the following London Overground services.
- On Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 February, there will be no service between:
Edmonton Green and Cheshunt. All trains from Liverpool Street to Cheshunt will divert to Enfield Town. Use Greater Anglia services to travel between Liverpool Street and Cheshunt (via Tottenham Hale). Alternatively, use local bus routes - Romford and Upminster. Use local bus routes 165, 248 or 370
On Saturday 22 February, there will be no service between Willesden Junction and Shepherd’s Bush. Use local bus routes 220 or 228.
On Sunday 23 February, there will be no service between:
- Willesden Junction and Clapham Junction. Use local buses
- Wandsworth Road and Clapham Junction. Use local buses or Southern Railway services between Battersea Park and Clapham Junction
- Kilburn High Road and Euston until 12:15 and after 20:15. This is due to Network Rail track work and High Speed Two work. Use alternative Tube or local bus routes
TfL Rail
On Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 February, there will be no service between Liverpool Street and Shenfield. This is due to track work, overhead line enhancement and Crossrail station work. Tickets will be accepted on local bus route 25 between Stratford and Ilford. Rail replacement buses will run between Romford and Stratford, and between Shenfield and Newbury Park.
Tram
On Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 February, there will be no service between Wimbledon and Dundonald Road. This is due to infrastructure work. All trams will start from and finish at Dundonald Road, which is a 10 minute walk from Wimbledon. Alternatively, use local bus route 93 to/from Morden Road tram stop or routes 163 or 164 to/from Merton Park tram stop.
