The Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) mask mandate was rescinded on Monday, April 18, following a federal court ruling, and right before another extension of the mandate was supposed to go into effect.
This ruling gives the authority to local transit agencies to decide their mask policy.
While some transit agencies, dropped the mask requirement immediately, others still require masks on transit.
