Happy Vesak!

    It’s going to be a long weekend.

    Long weekend means a good opportunity for everyone to take a long rest and/or holiday domestically or abroad. But it also means our public transport engineering work is best done during long weekends. Besides major works on MRT there will be also an extension of service hour on eve of Vesak.

    1) North South Line (NSL): No Service between Woodlands (NS9) and Yishun (NS13) on 18 & 19 May (Saturday & Sunday), and Woodlands (NS9) and Ang Mo Kio (NS16) on 20 May (Monday)

    To facilitate testing and commissioning of new track and signalling in preparation of new Canberra MRT Station, there will be no service on selected stations on 18 May 2019 to 20 May 2019.

    a) 18 May 2019 & 19 May 2019: Woodlands (NS9) and Yishun (NS13)
    b) 20 May 2019: Woodlands (NS9) and Ang Mo Kio (NS16)

    During the planned disruption shuttle bus will be provided to bridge passengers who wish to travel in between disrupted stations. Details of the shuttle routes below

    2) Shuttle routes during NSL planned disruption.

    During planned disruption of the North-South Line (NSL), replacement service (Shuttle 10 & Express 17) will be activated for passengers travelling on the affected section of NSL. Details as following

    a) Shuttle 10 (18 & 19 May 2019): Woodlands – Yishun (Every 1-3 mins)
    b) Shuttle 10 (20 May 2019): Woodlands – Ang Mo Kio (Every 1-3 mins)
    c) Express 17: Woodlands – Bukit Panjang (Every 5-8 mins)

     

    3) Bus Service Diversion during 2019 NDP Mobile Column Rehearsal

    Apart from the changes during Sunday Morning, there will also be bus service diversion over at Tuas area from Friday Evening until Sunday morning. Here are the details

    4) Extension of service during the eve of Vesak Day (18 May 2019)

    Multiple train and bus service will be extended during the eve of Vesak to make way for the nation’s holiday.
