Weekend Changes

    It’s weekend again!

    Several services throughout the weekend will be affected, directly or unrelated to the rehearsal, and more.

    Here are the changes:

    1) North East Line (NEL): Stations between Bugis & Tanah Merah will experience early closure for engineering works

    On the night of 5 & 6 July (Friday & Saturday), several stations Between Serangoon (NE12|CC13) and Punggol (NE17|PTC) will end its service earlier at around 11pm. There will be no service from Kovan (NE13) to Punggol (NE17|PTC) and trains service will terminate at Serangoon

    2) Shuttle 21 | Serangoon – Punggol: Replacement shuttle during early closure of stations.

    During planned disruption of the North East Line (NEL), replacement service (Shuttle 21) will be activated for passengers who wish to travel to affected stations. The said replacement service will run at a frequency of  3-5 minutes.

    There will also be extended operating hours for:

    • Selected bus services from Hougang & Punggol
    • Train service on the North East Line (Southbound) from Serangoon to HarbourFront
    • Train service on Sengkang LRT and Punggol LRT

    3) Bus Service Diversion during 2019 NDP Rehearsal

    There will also be bus service diversion over at Downtown area from Saturday early morning until Sunday morning.

    4) Sengkang LRT (A & D) will only operate at 5.30pm on Sunday

    On Sunday, 7 July, both Sengkang East and West LRT service will only operate on single direction only up until 5.30pm. Route A & D will be closed to accommodate maintenance work on the systems. Passengers still can use the LRT but expect longer journey times to the Sengkang LRT/MRT Station.

    5) Bus diversion on Sunday Morning for TRI-Factor Thriatlon

    On Sunday 14th July, 6am to 1pm, Service 401 will skip 8 stops along East Coast Park and Marine Parade Road to make way for TRI-Factor Thriatlon.
