We have collected several public transit changes that are worth getting to know about this weekend.
π§ Changes in public transportation routes passing through the Allenby Street area in Tel Aviv-Yafo
In line with the ongoing construction of the light rail’s purple line by NTA (Χ Χͺ”Χ’), beginning Friday, May 3, 2024, Allenby Street will be closed to traffic between Montefiore Street and Yehuda Halevi Street.
Several bus stops along Allenby, Montefiore, Menachem Begin, Chlenov, HaAliyah, Shoken, Ehad HaAm, Herzl, La Guardia, and Yigal Alon Streets will be canceled.

Changes in Train Traffic in the Ashdod and Ashkelon area, May 02-03, 2024
Due to maintenance and infrastructure works, temporary changes will apply to train traffic in the Ashdod and Ashkelon area, starting Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 23:00 (approximately) and on Friday (May 3, 2024) during all operating hours.
The Ashkelon and Ashdod Ad Halom stations will be closed to train traffic.
Trains on the Ashkelon-Tel Aviv Savidor Center line will operate between the Yavne West and Tel Aviv Savidor Central Center stations and will not stop at the Ashkelon and Ashdod Ad Halom stations.
Trains on the Ashkelon-Binyamina line will operate between the Rehovot and Binyamina stations only and will not stop at the Ashkelon and Ashdod Ad Halom stations.
A free shuttle service will operate between the closed stations.
Train traffic will return to normal on Saturday evening, May 4, 2024, upon the resumption of service.

πββοΈ Rishon Lezion – Triathlon
On Friday, May 3rd, 2024, a triathlon will take place in Rishon LeZion. From 05:30 to 10:30, the following streets will be closed to traffic: Rehavam Ze’evi, Sderot Maryland in both directions.

Saturday night, May 4th- Service changes due to a rally:
On Saturday night, May 4th, a rally will take place at Kaplan\Begin Junction.
Starting at noon, many streets in the area will be blocked, and bus lines will skip stops in the area.

On Saturday, May 4th, a demonstration will take place at the Horev Center in Haifa.
Starting at noon, many streets in these areas will be blocked, and bus lines will skip stops in the area.Β

π’ Jerusalem
Saturday night, May 4th – Service changes due to a demonstration
On Saturday, May 4th, a demonstration will take place at Azza Street in Jerusalem.
Starting at noon, many streets in these areas will be blocked, and bus lines will skip stops in the area.Β
