We have collected several public transit changes that are worth getting to know about this weekend.
๐ Israel Railway
Changes in Train Traffic in Jerusalem, Modi’in, and Lod, Thursday night (February 8th), Friday and Saturday (February 9th-10th, 2024)
Due to maintenance and infrastructure works in the Ganot Junction area, changes will apply to train traffic in Jerusalem, Modi’in, and Lod, starting from Thursday, February 8th, 2024 at 23:00 (approximately) until midnight on February 10th, 2024 (inclusive).
- Trains on the Beโer Sheva-Nahariya line will operate in a split format: between Beโer Sheva and Lod stations, and between Tel Aviv HaHagana and Nahariya stations. Continuous travel between Beโer Sheva and Tel Aviv will not be possible.
- Trains on the Modi’in Center-Tel Aviv line will not operate.
- Trains on the Beit Shemesh-Netanya line will operate in a split format: between Beit Shemesh and Lod stations, and between Tel Aviv HaHagana and Netanya stations. The trains will not operate between Lod and Tel Aviv.
- Trains on the Ashkelon-Binyamina line will operate between Ashkelon and Lod stations, and between Tel Aviv HaHagana and Binyamina stations. Travel from Ashkelon and Ashdod to Tel Aviv and north of it on the Ashkelon and Herzliya line will be possible via Moshe Dayan.
- The night trains on the Jerusalem Yitzhak Navon-Binyamina line will operate between Tel Aviv Center and Binyamina stations only. On Saturday night, the night trains will resume operation, and will operate in a split format between Jerusalem-Yitzhak Navon and Ben Gurion Airport and between Tel Aviv Center and Binyamina. The trains will not operate between Ben Gurion Airport and Tel Aviv Center.
- Trains on the Jerusalem Yitzhak Navon-Herzliya line will not operate.On Saturday evening, train traffic on this line will resume and will operate in a split format between the stations of Jerusalem – Yitzhak Navon and Ben Gurion Airport and between Tel Aviv HaHagana and Herzliya. The trains will not operate between Ben Gurion Airport and Tel Aviv Center.
- Trains on the Jerusalem Yitzhak Navon-Modi’in line will not operate on Friday (February 9th).
A free shuttle service will be available to passengers:
Between Lod and Tel Aviv Savidor Center stations.
Between the Ben Gurion Airport and Tel Aviv Savidor Center stations.
Passengers traveling from Jerusalem and Modi’in to Ben Gurion Airport are requested to use alternative public transportation.
Train traffic will return to normal on Sunday, February 11, 2024, upon the resumption of service.
๐ Public Transit Services on the Weekends
Naโim Basofash (ื ืขืื ืืกืืคโืฉ)ย
Starting this upcoming Friday, February 9th, the frequency of the Naโim Basofash service within Tel Aviv city will increase to every half an hour.
This change applies to the enhanced lines – 708, 709, and 717.
Sababus Ramat Gan
โช Addition of Stations to the White Line (ืกืืืืก ืืื)ย
In the direction from Ramat Gan to Tel Aviv โ the station “Dizenghoff Center/King George” has been added โ station number 20784.
In the direction from Tel Aviv to Ramat Gan โ the station “Dizenghoff Center/King George” has been added โ station number 20785.
Shabus Rehovot
Starting this upcoming Friday, February 9th, the Shabus Rehovot buses are back in service! Free shuttles from Rehovot to Tel Aviv and to Rishon LeZion.
Every weekend from 09/02 until 02/03.

๐ข The Or Yehuda race
On Friday, February 9th, from 06:00 to 09:30, the Or Yehuda Race will take place. As a result, many areas will be blocked, and bus stations will be canceled.

๐ข Tel Aviv
Saturday night, February 10th – Service changes due to a rally:
On Saturday night, February 10th, a rally will take place at Tel Aviv Museum of Art (Hostages Square๐).
Starting at noon, many streets in the area will be blocked, and bus lines will skip stops in the area.
Bus lines with route changes:
Dan – 7, 9, 18, 28, 72, 82, 89, 142.
Metropoline – 249, 55, 126, 26, 24, 445, 36, 56.
๐ข Haifaย
Saturday night, February 10th – Service changes due to a demonstration
On Saturday, February 10th, a demonstration will take place at the Horev Center in Haifa.
Starting at noon, many streets in these areas will be blocked, and bus lines will skip stops in the area.ย

Egged – 28, 37, 123, 133, 136, 37ื.
