There are some changes over this weekend so be sure to avoid or plan ahead!
Here are the changes:
1) North South Line (NSL): Stations between Ang Mo Kio & Newton will end early at around 11pm for engineering works
On the morning of 10 & 11 January (Friday & Saturday), several stations Between Ang Mo Kio and Newton will end its service earlier at around 11pm. There will be no service from Ang Mo Kio & Newton and trains service will terminate at Ang Mo Kio & Newton respectively.
2) Shuttle 9 | Ang Mo Kio – Newton Replacement shuttle during early closure of stations.
During planned disruption of the North South Line (NSL), replacement service (Shuttle 9) will be activated for passengers who wish to travel to affected stations. The said replacement service will run at a frequency of 3-5 minutes.
3) Bus Diversion during Chinatown Chinese New Year Opening Ceremony
On 10 & 11 January (Friday & Saturday), 4pm to midnight, 2 route will be diverted from its original route in conjunction with National Gallery Light to Night 2020

4) Thomson-East Coast Line (Stage 1) Open House
On 11 January, 9am to 6pm, the 3 stations of the upcoming Thomson-East Coast Line will be having an open house for the public to experience and feel the new line which will officially open for regular service on 31 January. Line information will be available on Moovit and journey planned during the open house will include Thomson-East Coast line whenever possible.
