We have collected several public transit changes that are worth getting to know about this weekend.


๐Ÿš† Israel Railways – Increased Train Service for the “Nova at the Parkโ€ Event, June 27th, 2024

ย On Thursday, June 27th, 2024, the “Nova at the Park” event will take place at Yarkon Park, adjacent to Tel Aviv University train station. Train traffic will be increased at the end of the concert by adding 18 special trains and extending the routes of regular trains.

Special Trains Departing from Tel Aviv University Station:

  • Special Trains: Tel Aviv University โ€“ Nahariya (8192, 8190, 8188)
    Stops will include: Herzliya, Beit Yehoshua, Netanya, Hadera West, Binyamina, Haifa Hof HaCarmel, Haifa Bat Galim, Haifa Center, HaMifrats Central Station, Kiryat Haim, Kiryat Motzkin, Akko, and Nahariya (last stop).
    Estimated Departure Times: 23:15, 23:30, 23:45.

  • Special Trains: Tel Aviv University โ€“ Modi’in Center (8183, 8181)
    Stops will include: Tel Aviv Savidor Center, Tel Aviv HaShalom, Tel Aviv HaHagana, Ben Gurion Airport, Pa’atei Modi’in, and Modi’in Center (last stop).
    Estimated Departure Times: 23:15, 23:55.

  • Special Trains: Tel Aviv University โ€“ Ashkelon (8691, 8693)
    Stops will include: Tel Aviv Savidor Center, Tel Aviv HaShalom, Tel Aviv HaHagana, Holon Junction, Holon Wolfson, Bat Yam Yoseftal, Bat Yam Komemiyut, Rishon LeZion Moshe Dayan, Yavne West, Ashdod, and Ashkelon (last stop).
    Estimated Departure Times: 23:05, 23:45.

  • Special Train: Tel Aviv University โ€“ Herzliya (through HaSharon stations) (8694)
    Stops will include: Bnei Brak, Petah Tikva Kiryat Aryeh, Petah Tikva Sgula, Rosh Ha’Ayin North, Kfar Saba Nordau, Hod HaSharon, Ra’anana South, Ra’anana West, and Herzliya (last stop).
    Estimated Departure Time: 23:40.

  • Special Train: Tel Aviv University โ€“ Be’er Sheva Center (8055)
    Stops will include: Tel Aviv Savidor Center, Tel Aviv HaShalom, Tel Aviv HaHagana, Lod Ganei Aviv, Lod, Ramla, Mazkeret Batya, Kiryat Malachi, Kiryat Gat, Lehavim-Rahat, Be’er Sheva North, and Be’er Sheva Center (last stop).
    Estimated Departure Time: 00:20.

Extension of Regular Trains:

  • Regular Trains: Jerusalem Yitzhak Navon โ€“ Binyamina (782, 784)
    The route will be extended, and the train will stop at Tel Aviv University Station at 23:48 and 00:15.
    Additional stops will be added at the following stations: Beit Yehoshua, Netanya, Hadera, and Binyamina (last stop).

  • Regular Trains: Be’er Sheva Center โ€“ Herzliya (54, 56)
    The route will be extended, and the train will stop at Tel Aviv Savidor Center Station at 23:15 and 00:20.
    Additional stops will be added at the following stations: Tel Aviv University, Bnei Brak, Petah Tikva Kiryat Aryeh, Petah Tikva Sgula, Rosh Ha’Ayin North, Kfar Saba Nordau, Hod HaSharon, Ra’anana South, Ra’anana West, and Herzliya (last stop).

  • Regular Train: Binyamina โ€“ Rehovot (289)
    The route will be extended, and the train will stop at Tel Aviv University Station at 23:19.
    Additional stops will be added at the following stations: Yavne East, Ashdod Ad Halom, and Ashkelon (last stop).

  • Regular Train: Tel Aviv University โ€“ Be’er Sheva Center (53)
    The train will start its journey at Tel Aviv University Station (instead of Tel Aviv Savidor Center Station) at 23:04.

  • Regular Train: Modi’in Center โ€“ Nahariya (134)
    The route will be extended, and the train will stop at Tel Aviv University Station at 23:01.
    Additional stops will be added at the following stations: Herzliya, Beit Yehoshua, and Netanya.

  • Regular Train: Modi’in Center โ€“ Nahariya (136)
    The route will be extended, and the train will stop at Tel Aviv University Station at 00:01.
    Additional stops will be added at the following stations: Herzliya and Beit Yehoshua.

  • Regular Train: Ben Gurion Airport โ€“ Nahariya (Night Train No. 2)
    The route will be extended, and the train will stop at Tel Aviv Savidor Center Station at 00:27.
    Additional stops will be added at the following stations: Tel Aviv University, Beit Yehoshua, Haifa Bat Galim, and HaMifrats Central Station.

Changes in Train Traffic in the Lod, Ben Gurion Airport, and Tel Aviv Area, 28/06/24

Due to maintenance work, temporary changes to train traffic will apply in the area of Lod, Ben Gurion Airport, and Tel Aviv on the night between Thursday and Friday (28/06/24), starting at 01:30 (approximately), and on Friday, throughout all operating hours.

  • Trains on the Ben Gurion Airport-Nahariya line (including the night trains between Thursday and Friday) will operate between the Tel Aviv HaHagana and Nahariya stations only (and will not stop at Ben Gurion Airport station).
  • Trains on the Modi’in-Tel Aviv Savidor Center line will operate between Modi’in and Ben Gurion Airport stations only and will not operate between the Ben Gurion Airport and Tel Aviv Savidor Center stations.
  • Trains on the Jerusalem Yitzhak Navon-Herzliya line will operate in two segments: between the Yitzhak Navon and Ben Gurion Airport stations and between the Tel Aviv HaHagana and Herzliya stations.
  • Trains on the Beโ€™er Sheva Center-Nahariya line will operate in two segments: between the Beโ€™er Sheva Center and Lod stations and between the Tel Aviv HaHagana and Nahariya stations.
  • Continuously travel between the Beโ€™er Sheva, Lehavim Rahat, Kiryat Gat, Mazkeret Batya, Kiryat Malachi Yoav stations and Tel Aviv will not be possible.
  • Trains on the Ashkelon-Binyamina line will operate in two segments: between the Ashkelon and Lod stations and between the Tel Aviv HaHagana and Binyamina stations.
  • Trains on the Beit Shemesh-Netanya line will operate in two segments: between the Beit Shemesh and Lod stations and between the Tel Aviv HaHagana and Netanya stations.

A free shuttle service will be operated between Ben Gurion Airport Station and Tel Aviv Savidor Central Station (in both directions), and between Lod Station and Tel Aviv Savidor Central Station (in both directions).

Train traffic will return to normal on Saturday evening (29/06/24), upon the resumption of service.


๐Ÿš NEW in Herzliya! Naim Busofash (ื ืขื™ื ื‘ืกื•ืค”ืฉ) Weekend Lines to and from TLV

Starting Friday, 28/06, Herzliya will join the “Naim B’Sofash” bus service, which allows free public transportation on weekends to and from Tel Aviv.

Search for lines 721 and 722 in the lines tab!

The new lines, 721 and 722, will operate on weekends and holidays.
Operating hours on Fridays: 17:00-01:00.
Operating hours on Saturdays: 10:00-18:00.

The lines will follow the same route in Tel Aviv-Jaffa and will split in Herzliya to best serve the residents of both cities.
The lines will run every half hour and will include stops at the following destinations:
In Herzliya โ€“ Seven Stars Mall, the beach, Arena Mall, and Cinema City.
In Tel Aviv-Jaffa โ€“ Ibn Gabirol Street, Rabin Square, Dizengoff Center, and the beach.


It is recommended to plan your trip in advance ๐Ÿšฅ. *There might be unexpected changes.*

Moovit is updated with latest changes that are being published by the bus operators and the Ministry of Transportation.
