    There’s a lot happening over the next few weeks across the region. So whether you are planning to travel by car, bus, train or tram, you’ll need to plan ahead and check your route before you travel.

     

    What’s happening and when? 

    Here is a snapshot of what is happening each day over the next two weeks, below there is more detail on each day and advice on how to minimise disruption to your journey.

    Thursday 4 April: 

    • No tram from Wednesbury Great Western to Birmingham
    • Changes to bus timetable
    • Rail engineering works
    • Rail service may be impacted due to ‘action short of a strike’

    Friday 5 April: 

    • No tram from Wednesbury Great Western to Birmingham
    • Changes to bus timetable
    • Rail engineering works
    • Industrial action (no services: Avanti, West Mids Trains and Cross Country)

    Saturday 6 April: 

    • No tram from Wednesbury Great Western to Birmingham
    • Changes to bus timetable
    • Rail engineering works
    • Industrial action (no services: Chiltern)
    • Rail service may be impacted due to ‘action short of a strike’

    Sunday 7 April: 

    • No tram from Wednesbury Great Western to Birmingham
    • Changes to bus timetable
    • Changes to bus stops in Birmingham City Centre
    • Rail engineering works

    Monday 8 – Tuesday 9 April: 

    • No tram from Wednesbury Great Western to Birmingham
    • Changes to bus stops in Birmingham City Centre
    • Rail service may be impacted due to ‘action short of a strike’

    Wednesday 10 April: 

    • Changes to bus stops in Birmingham City Centre

    Thursday 11 April: 

    • Changes to bus stops in Birmingham City Centre
    • No tram from Black Lake to Birmingham after 8pm
