Upcoming Rail Strikes
The RMT Union (Rail, Maritime, and Transport Union) has announced further strike action for Saturday 2ᶮᵈ September 2023.
However, your journey might also be affected on 1ˢᵗ & 9ᵗʰ September. Please follow closely with the rail operators.
Saturday 2ᶮᵈ September
There will be a very limited train service in operation between the hours of 7am and 7pm.
Some stations will not be served on the strike days.
There may also be some alterations to evening services and morning services on the days before and after strike dates.
Please check with your rail operator or rail apps for individual train updates.
On Friday 1 September members of the ASLEF Union have announced their intention to strike.
With the exception of Transport for Wales Rail, there are unlikely to be any train services in the region on this date. Please check with your operator.
Furthermore, on Saturday 9 September employees of CrossCountry trains, who are members of the RMT Union, have announced their intention to strike on this date. Check with the operator for more details on how this strike action will impact services.

West Midlands Metro
West Midlands Metro services will operate to a normal timetable and are unaffected by this strike action.
