From Monday 22nd May 2023, for approximately 3 months, King Street will be closed at the junction with Flood Street to allow extension works for the West Midlands Metro to take place. The following services will be diverted during this time:Β
π 2:
Heading towards Wrens Nest, buses will divert from Stafford Street via The Inhedge, Parsons Street, Ednam Road, Priory Road, New Street and Fisher Street before entering Dudley bus station.
Buses heading towards Merry Hill will not be affected.
π 6 & 8:
Heading towards Dudley, buses will divert from High Street, via Stafford Street, The Inhedge, Parsons Street, Ednam Road, Priory Road, New Street and Fisher Street before entering Dudley bus station.
Heading from Dudley bus station, buses will divert from King Street via Flood Street, New Mill Street and King Street before rejoining the normal line of route.
