Buses affected by a strike
Bus
Industrial action on National Express West Midlands and National Express Coventry is ongoing with no current end date.
There will be a very limited service in operation, primarily serving the region’s major hospitals, which may be changed at short notice.
Train, tram and other bus operators including Diamond, Arriva and Stagecoach will be operating as normal but services are likely to be busier than usual.
Below are the services which are planned to run this morning (21 March 2023) – However, this may be changed at short notice:

51 | Birmingham – Walsall (via Great Barr & Perry Barr)
59 | Wolverhampton – Ashmore Park (via New Cross Hospital & Wednesfield)
87 | Birmingham – Oldbury (via City Hospital & Smethwick)
97 | Birmingham – Chelmsley Wood (via Bordesley Green, Heartlands Hospital & Meadway)

Rail
Further strike action by the RMT Union (National Union of Rail, Maritime & Transport workers) has been announced to take place on:
- 00:01 hours and 23:59 hours on Thursday 30 March 2023
- 00:01 hours and 23:59 hours on Saturday 1 April 2023
There will be reduced timetables during these times.
Tram
West Midlands Metro will be operating a normal service.
