Service adjustments: UNTIL January 31

Highlights

After 10:00 p.m. service:

Red Line Trains every 18 minutes
Silver Line regular service intervals, trains every 20 minutes between Wiehle-Reston East and Ballston
Orange Line, Blue Line, Yellow Line, Green Line include regular service intervals, with trains every 20 minutes

Passengers at stations impacted by service adjustments should follow Passenger Information Display signs, station announcements or consult a Station Manager for any boarding location changes.

Red Line Red Line
 Trains every 18 minutes

Red Line trains will single track between Grosvenor-Strathmore and Twinbrook to allow for installation of cable/communication equipment to support cellular service in tunnels and new radio system.

Orange Line Orange Line
Regular service intervals, trains every 20 minutes

Orange Line trains will single track between Smithsonian and Federal Center SW to allow for rail renewal.

Silver Line Silver Line
Regular service intervals, trains every 20 minutes between Wiehle-Reston East and Ballston only

Silver Line trains will operate between Wiehle-Reston East and Ballston only. Customers traveling to/from other stations should use Orange and/or Blue line trains to complete their trip. At Ballston, transfer between Silver and Orange line trains on the same platform.

Blue Line Blue Line
Regular service intervals, trains every 20 minutes

Blue Line trains will single track between Smithsonian and Federal Center SW to allow for rail renewal.

Yellow Line Yellow Line
Regular service intervals, trains every 20 minutes

Yellow Line trains will single track between Mt Vernon Sq and U Street to allow for stand pipe replacement.

Green Line Green Line
 Regular service intervals, trains every 20 minutes

Green Line trains will single track between Mt Vernon Sq and U Street to allow for stand pipe replacement.

Start times and work locations may change based on operational needs and conditions.
