😷 up! Face covering is mandatory in public places

June 24, 2021

Face coverings are mandatory in all public transport and all crowded public places.

As part of the nation’s effort in fighting the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, face-coverings (Face Mask) had been mandatory since 1st August 2020 on all public places where observing social distancing is not possible.

This is an addition to the existing requirements to wear face coverings on all public transport in Malaysia which had been in effect since May 2020.
