A new schedule and service increase will start on Thursday, July 1 for SF Bay Ferries, including fare reductions. The new schedule will represent the highest number of daily departures the agency has ever offered.
Below are highlights of the new schedule:
- Weekend service on the Vallejo, Oakland & Alameda, and Richmond routes resume on Saturday 7/3.
- Weekday Richmond ferry service increases to 24 daily departures.
- The new Oakland & Alameda route features eight direct trips between Oakland and Downtown San Francisco during peak commutes.
- The new Alameda Seaplane route debuts July 1 with 10 daily departures to Downtown San Francisco.
- Daily departures on the Harbor Bay route increased to 23 daily departures.
Some transit agencies will provide holiday, weekend, or modified service schedules on Independence Day, 7/4.
- ACE service will not be available on Sunday, July 4, or Monday, July 5.
- AC Transit all Local and Transbay lines will operate on a Sunday schedule on Monday, July 5.
- BARTÂ will operate on a Sunday Service schedule on Monday, July 5.
- Caltrain will operate on Sunday, July 4.
- FASTÂ service will not be available on Sunday, July 4.
- Golden Gate Transit and Ferry will operate on a Holiday Service schedule on Sunday, July 4 and Monday, July 5.
- Marin Transit will operate on a Holiday schedule on Sunday, July 4, and Monday, July 5.
- Petaluma Transit will not operate on Sunday, July 4.
- SamTrans will operate on Sunday, July 4.
- Santa Rosa CityBus and Paratransit services will not be available on Sunday, July 4.
- SF Muni will operate on a Sunday schedule on Monday, July 5.
- Sonoma County Transit service will not be available on Sunday, July 4. Monday, July 5 service will operate on a Saturday schedule.
- Tri Delta Transit will operate on a Sunday / Holiday schedule on Monday, July 5.
- Union City Transit service will not be available on Sunday, July 4.
- Vacaville City Coach service will not be available on Sunday, July 4.
- VINEÂ service will not be available on Sunday, July 4.
- WestCATÂ will operate on a Sunday schedule on Monday, July 5.
