    WMATA 

    Metrorail Updates:

        • Metrorail operates from 5:00 a.m. until Midnight on Weekdays, 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. on Saturdays, and 8:00 a.m. to Midnight on Sundays
        • Delays are expected due to the continued suspension of train service between Rosslyn & Pentagon and single-tracking of Orange/Silver Line trains between Foggy Btm & Clarendon. Please follow the alerts on your line in the app. for updates.
          Shuttle bus service is available at Arlington Cemetery. Virginia customers use Blue Line service to L’Enfant Plaza, transfer to Orange/Silver lines for continuing service.
        • Due to a derailment outside Arlington Cemetery, trains are operating between Franconia-Springfield & Mount Vernon Square only as of this morning. Please follow the alerts on your line in the app. for updates.

    Weekday service info.

        • Red Line Trains – Regular daytime intervals every 6 minutes peak and off-peak until 9:30 p.m. & Weeknights: Trains every 10 minutes 
        • Blue Line Trains – Regular daytime intervals every 10 minutes peak, 12 minutes off-peak until 9:30 p.m. & Weeknights: Trains every 15 minutes. 
        • Orange Line Trains – Regular daytime intervals every 10 minutes peak, 12 minutes off-peak until 9:30 p.m. & Weeknights: Trains every 15 minutes. 
        • Silver Line Trains – Regular daytime intervals every 10 minutes peak, 12 minutes off-peak until 9:30 p.m. & Weeknights: Trains every 15 minutes.
        • Yellow Line Trains –  Regular daytime intervals every 10 minutes peak, 12 minutes off-peak until 9:30 p.m. & Weeknights: Trains every 15 minutes.
        • Green Line Trains – Regular daytime intervals every 10 minutes peak, 12 minutes off-peak until 9:30 p.m. & Weeknights: Trains every 15 minutes.

    Weekend service adjustments

        • Red Line Trains operate every 8 minutes between Twinbrook and Glenmont only; Shady Grove and Rockville stations closed. Free shuttle buses provided.
        • Blue Line, Silver Line & Orange Line Trains operating every 15 minutes with potential delays on the Blue Line
        • Yellow Line Trains operating every 20 minutes
        • Green Line Trains every 15 minutes

    • Buses will detour during the 2021 Police Week event from 6:00 am to 10:30 pm on Wednesday, October 14, 2021. Between 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm, 14th St between Constitution Ave, NW and D St, SW will be closed intermittently for public safety.- for more info. see HERE
