    Here are the events to know about & how you can get there:

    Cesar Chavez Parade and Festival

    Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
    Mission District

    The day begins th a parade, which starts at Dolores Park, near 19th and Guerrero streets and ends at 24th and Folsom streets. The festival will be held on 24th between Treat and Bryant streets, and will include music, dancing, arts and crafts vendors and other entertainment.

    How to Get There on Muni: The J Church Line and the 12 Folsom/Pacific, 14 Mission, 14R Mission Rapid, 22 Fillmore, 33 Ashbury/18th St., 48 Quintara/24th St., 49 Van Ness/Mission and 67 Bernal Heights routes will take you close to the festivities.

    Muni Service Note: The J , 22 and 33 may see increased ridership and possible delays. The 12 , 14/14R, 48, 49 and 67 will see reroutes and possible delays.

    Glen Park Festival

    Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
    Glen Park

    The 19th annual Glen Park Festival celebrates the neighborhood’s many artists and craftspeople and allows them to showcase their talents. There will be performances by local musicians, vendors selling everything from food to arts and crafts, dance lessons and more.

    How to Get There on Muni: The J Church Line and the 35 Eureka, 36 Teresita, 44 O’Shaughnessy and 52 Excelsior routes will take you within walking distance of the festival.

    Muni Service Note: The J and 44 may see increased ridership and possible delays. The 35, 36 and 52 will see reroutes and possible delays.

    Sunday Streets

    Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
    Tenderloin

    Come enjoy a day of car-free fun at April’s second Sunday Streets event in the Tenderloin. There will be dozens of free activities offered by local merchants and organizations at activity hubs on Ellis Street and Golden Gate Avenue, where our staff will be out with one of our newer extended hybrid-electric Muni buses.

    How to Get There on Muni: Any Muni Metro line, the F Market & Wharves Line and the 5 Fulton, 6 Haight/Parnassus, 7 Haight-Noriega, 9 San Bruno, 14 Mission / 14R Mission Rapid, 19 Polk, 21 Hayes, 27 Bryant, 31 Balboa, 47 Van Ness and 49 Van Ness/Mission routes will take you close to the event.

    Muni Service Note: Muni Metro lines, the F and the 5, 6 , 7, 9, 14/14R, 21, 31, 47 and 49 may see increased ridership and possible delays. The 19, 27 and 31 will see reroutes and possible delays.

    On Tap for next week: Monday is May 1st, the traditional celebration of May Day and also International Worker’s Day. There is a protest planned along Market Street, from Justin Herman Plaza to Civic Center Plaza, which will impact Muni service.

     Temporary J Church and K Ingleside Service Changes Reminder

    Due to Balboa Park Station Area and Plaza Improvement construction work, temporary stop changes are in effect for the J Church and K Ingleside lines at Balboa Park Station.

    Previous
