    Your ticket to any AFL game at Adelaide Oval is also your ticket to FREE travel on MAC Footy Express bus, train and tram services operated by Adelaide Metro in partnership with the Motor Accident Commission (MAC).

     

    MAC Footy Express train services

    MAC Footy Express train services operate to a high frequency before and after AFL games, travelling to and from Adelaide Railway Station, a short walk from Adelaide Oval.

    MAC Footy Express tram services

    MAC Footy Express tram services operate to a very high frequency to and from Adelaide Railway Station tram stop, a short walk through Adelaide Railway Station to Adelaide Oval. Trams service all stops.

    MAC Footy Express bus services

    MAC Footy Express bus services operate from many suburban stops. Some services pick up at all stops on their route, while others will stop at limited stops. Please see the network map for route information. (262kb PDF)

    All MAC Footy Express buses set down and pick up at the special bus interchange on King William Road between North Terrace and Pennington Terrace, with some services using Victoria Drive – see the interchange map for details of where your service operates from. (89 KB PDF)

    MAC Footy Express services will drop off at some regular city stops in the city before the game, and where requested along route after the game.

    Some MAC Footy Express bus services changed their routes in 2016.

    Many regional services operate to and from Adelaide Oval, dropping off on Pennington Terrace.

    Weeknight games: The free travel period for normal Adelaide Metro scheduled services applies 3 hours prior to the game start time.

    Stops will reopen approximately one hour after the final game siren.
